Let us go beyond this stage, you and I, brother, and agree on a definition of the Mujahideen: they are all those who have struggled to establish the religion of Allah in their land and have mercy on the oppressed, they are the humble towards the believers from the general people and from all the fighting brigades, the honored towards the disbelievers, so you see most of their strength is against the fighting disbelievers. Who are these people? Let us go beyond this stage. You may see them represented in a group, but I will never agree with you on that, due to the difference in our sources, follow-up, and criteria. But regardless, if a group is considered Mujahideen, does it necessarily mean that others must be considered Sahwat? As if we are dealing with a genetic trait, where people carrying the "gene of Sahwat" are "discovered" and dealt with on that basis?! And we do not differentiate between the motives for this fight: Is it servitude and betrayal, or repelling an aggressor and reclaiming a right?! Is it not a horrible mix to describe all or most of them as fighting the Mujahideen out of hatred for Islam, violating their sanctities, and displaying their corpses, while this only comes from the first type?! The goal here is not to justify this fight or not to justify it, but to sort out the concepts that, if left mixed, will lead to more blind provocation in a vicious cycle of killing and reaction to killing. Is it not unjust to treat them all as if they are afflicted with the "gene of Sahwat," and to consider the spread of Sahwah to be such that the fourteen types are equal with the "evidence" that a picture was taken of one of the types with another type, and because a type united with a type that had sat with a type that received support from the worst of the types?! Someone may say: (We are ready to fight them all) and see in that bravery and courage! It is not your right to fight them all. The distinction between them is not just political and military acumen, but a religious duty above all. It is not your right to fight and take revenge on those who can be neutralized or won over with money... yes, with money! Indeed, these people have the right to the arrow of softening hearts from the zakat of wealth, a ruling that is not abrogated as long as the reason for it exists. Anas said: (And a man would come to the Messenger of Allah seeking only the world, but he would not pass the night until his religion became more beloved to him and more precious to him than the world and what is in it) (Muslim). Our task is not to "discover" carriers of the "gene of Sahwat" and fight them all! But our task is to rid people of the worst types as much as we can, and push them towards participating in building the Islamic project, or at least neutralize them from destroying it, and it is not permissible for us to compensate for that by fighting them. And thus, only the first, eighth, and eleventh types remain in enmity to the Islamic project, and even individuals of these will decrease. And even with these, we strive to postpone the battle with them as much as possible, lest it distract us from the duty of the time, which is repelling the aggressive disbeliever and aiding the oppressed. My brothers, it is necessary to remind that we do not underestimate the danger of the project called Sahwat, but we know that it destroys jihad and prevents the establishment of the possible Islamic state, but at the same time, we know that throwing types into the description of Sahwat without right is no less dangerous. And whoever does that destroys jihad just as those who are truly Sahwat do! And our condemnation of describing some of these types as Sahwat does not mean at all that we approve of them in everything, nor that we bet on the correctness of their future outcome. But our task is to push them in the right direction at the time when global powers try to make them work for them. And here also, a very important matter: just as it is necessary to refrain from mixing these types, it is necessary for the good of these types to distinguish themselves from the people of falsehood and affirm their innocence from them and clarify their positions so that they do not give Satan an excuse to mislead others in mixing them. He who follows the poor slave knows his concern for the purity of the methodology and the clarity of the vision in the matter of the Islamic Caliphate and the establishment of Sharia and the rejection of democracy. We have published in that the series, words, and articles, and refuted the arguments and doubts, and denounced the call to the approval of the polytheistic constitutions and political participation in the existing systems, and warned of the psychology of deviation that deviates the Islamic work from the Sharia, but all this, my brothers, obliges us to distinguish between the aforementioned types and deal with each of them as our noble Sharia dictates to us.
