Knowing the Origin of Man .. Why Does It Matter?
And we are talking about the issue of the origin of man and refuting the false science theories around it. Some will say: Why all this fuss? Let us leave the past, focus on the present, and what does it matter to me to know the origin of man!
So we say:
Allah, the Exalted, does not repeat the story of the creation of Adam in seven places in the Quran, in addition to mentioning his name twenty-five times, except for a great matter.
The creation of Adam is one of the great truths that Allah, the Exalted, wanted to remove the ambiguity from in a decisive and certain manner in His Book from the beginning, and confirmation in the Sunnah of His Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
The story of Adam answers one of the great existential questions: (Who am I? And what is the origin of the humans I belong to?), so Allah, the Exalted, does not leave it in a state of uncertainty.
The story of the creation of Adam tells us about the origin of man, the nature of man, the purpose of man, and the enemy of man.
A great and immense matter in which Allah says: (Say, it is a great news you are turning away from. I had no knowledge of the exalted assembly when they were disputing).
The story of the creation of Adam is related to the great unseen matters (Allah, the angels, the jinn, paradise, hell, the origin of life, the purpose of life)..it is closely related to them...and these are the issues that atheism has a major problem with, always relying on Darwinism.
*******************************
- You wonder: And what does the origin of man matter to us while we are suffering politically and economically and enduring injustice from the criminals of the earth? - So I say to you: It is in the interest of the criminals of the earth that people believe that they are nothing but an animal form that appeared by a combination of coincidences.
You look at yourself as an animal that came in vain! And how easy it is to humiliate one who looks at himself with this view!
- While Allah, the Exalted, informs you of the origin of your father Adam so that you know that you are honored (And indeed, We have honored the children of Adam), you were sent for a great mission (I am making in the earth a vicegerent), so do not submit to anyone except Him, the Exalted: (We said, descend from it, all of you. Then, if there comes to you from Me guidance, whoever follows My guidance will not go astray, nor will they be wretched (38)) (Al-Baqarah).
*********************************
- Then the matter goes beyond the origin of man to the entire Quran! If the issue of the creation of Adam is a settled matter, capable of being interpreted or even distorted in meaning based on false science theories, then what prevents the entire Quran from being symbols with fluid meanings?
- Blurring the meaning of the verses of the creation of Adam opens the door to blurring the meaning of the verses of the facts and the verses of the legislation together, and there will no longer be any meaning to describing the Quran as the clear book nor to the saying of Allah, the Exalted: (And We have sent down to you the Book in explanation of all things as guidance and mercy and good tidings for the believers (89)) (An-Nahl).
- From here, you understand why tampering with the meaning of the verses of the creation of Adam based on the myth of evolution was a bridge to atheism for some of the Muslim youth, while the Arab Drawnites say a statement before them: (We only want goodness and success).
