Let the Islamists succeed and let Islam lose!
Islam has a comprehensive battle: a battle to preserve its rewards, its supremacy, and its distinction from false religions and principles. And a battle to clarify and purify itself before people, so that those who perish do so with evidence, and those who live do so with evidence. Muslims also have partial battles, in which they seek victory over some enemy at some time. The problem is that Muslims often get caught up in the present moment, making their goal the victory of an "Islamic" group they see as salvation. In pursuit of this goal, they lose the comprehensive battle of Islam! This phenomenon exists among supporters of groups described as "Islamic" across the entire spectrum, from "jihadist" to "democratic" groups. If legitimate criticism is directed at these groups and Islam is exonerated from some of their behaviors, their supporters consider this criticism a weakening of the group against its enemies, and a prioritization of the disbeliever over it. Therefore, they must refrain from any criticism, and supporters exert all efforts to prove that these behaviors are not deviations but are from Islam and have evidence! These people commit a great crime without realizing it! They harm the great battle of Islam, which we mentioned, for the sake of Muslims winning a partial battle! The problem is not with those who doubt the attribution of these deviations to their supported groups, but in justifying them after they are proven. There is no doubt that many people make mistakes in their criticism, but the problem with those who are fanatical about a team is that they reject criticism in principle, even if it comes from someone who is concerned. I return to say, this phenomenon exists among supporters of every group, starting with those who go to extremes in everything for the sake of "agreement" with disbelievers and hypocrites, and ending with those who describe some Muslims as disbelievers and hypocrites. The voice of purifying Islam from all deviations must continue, to support it in its comprehensive battle, and not prevent this by claiming to weaken the groups in their partial battles. A voice must continue to draw the straight line from the Quran and Sunnah and remind people of it, and demand that groups return to it, not to tilt the line to provide a religious cover for groups so that people support them and they win in their partial battles! A voice must continue to tell people: These are our mistakes, Muslims, and from our groups. If we stumble, we should not say: (We tried Islam, the Sharia, and jihad, but they did not help us)! And we should not say: (Why, O Lord?) The answer is present: (Say, it is from yourselves). And we should not say: (O Allah, grant us the victory You promised). For this is not what Allah promised with victory. So let no one think ill of Allah the Exalted and His promise. This voice must remain, otherwise the landmarks of the religion will be lost, and people's opinion of their Lord will worsen, and we will be repelled from Allah's Sharia, so that the following will be applied to us: ((And taste the evil for what you have barred from the way of Allah, and for you is a great punishment)). Those who demand that such a voice be silenced should direct their efforts to aligning the partial battles with the great battle, not to harm the great one for the sake of the partial. They will say: (But we only wish for these to win so that Islam wins through them). We say to them: But deviation prevents victory, and Allah will not grant us success, Muslims, if we conspire to commit an evil act or remain silent about it, and we will not deserve for Islam to be victorious through us. Yes, we hope for every Muslim, no matter how much they deviate, to win over the disbeliever, and indeed, we must support them in what is right... Yes, perhaps the writer of these lines has a flaw in what he thinks is the straight path... Yes, the groups are not equal in their distance and closeness to righteousness... Yes, the critic must do his best not to employ falsehood in his criticism to belittle Muslim groups... But the principle: "We do not want any disruption (of the comprehensive battle) until this group or that wins in its (partial) battle" is a principle that must be shown to be invalid, and the principle that is above all: Let Islam remain pure, and let people's opinion of their Lord be good, then Muslims will win or lose according to their closeness or distance. And Allah knows best.
