Our enemies use our reactions

It is true that we must follow Western planning centers' studies and be aware of what they intend to do to us, but at the same time, we must be very careful that our reactions to their studies become the very trap itself, making us tools for them without us realizing it! 1. A method I believe they are increasingly using with us: - They want to deepen divisions among Muslims, so they publish a study—presented as directed to American politicians only—stating that it is necessary to support a certain group (among Muslims) because that serves American agendas. - We: read the study, believe we have uncovered the conspiracy... and the "Islamic intellectual elite" begins talking about it, pointing out that the group in question is an agent whether it realizes it or not. - "Or not" is dropped in transmission among less educated youth, and the phrase is reduced to: (The group is an agent of America)... (A product of Rand)... (A chick of Rand)... etc. The evidence: (A study by the Rand Center or the Washington Institute or the Carnegie Institute). Thus, we may deliver the message our enemies want us to deliver ourselves! To create—through us—more division, suspicion, and mistrust among "Islamic" groups and their supporters! 2. They may not use this to cast doubt on groups only, but also on intellectual trends and preaching styles, so that no one is left outside the circle of doubt. Some recent studies even state that "The best way to support a certain intellectual trend is to leave it alone and give it space, without direct support." Therefore, the pursuit and media war against a certain trend is "polishing it," and leaving it alone is "giving it space to implement agendas without realizing it." Thus, everyone is suspect! 3. Name me a Muslim group that a Western study has not mentioned using to attack other groups or to promote Western agendas, starting from the Sufis to the Brotherhood to the fighting factions, including the State group to the "Salafi" groups and others! The enemies of every group fly with this or that study happily: (Here is new evidence of your harm to Islam and the West's use of you)! 4. I used to wonder: (How do planning centers publish studies that clearly harm Muslims?!), and I answer myself: Perhaps one of their goals is to show their achievements to attract more financial support, as an institution like Rand has individual supporters who pay it tens of millions, which is natural in a capitalist system where institutions compete to secure support. But I think the issue has other important dimensions, including what I mentioned above, and we should not forget that the Rand Center and the Washington Institute publish studies in Arabic! 5. And we must not forget that they closely follow Muslims' reactions on social media. Recently, there have been many statements by American politicians about the use of "jihadists" on social media for recruitment purposes, and some of these statements mention the number of tweets supporting a certain group daily! It seems that one of their goals in this monitoring is to direct reactions and indirectly exploit them. 6. It also seems that these studies have become partly like WikiLeaks leaks and Sisi's leaks, which people circulate with great interest, considering that they were released against the will of the opponent and expose his secrets, while in reality, they were released to convey a hidden message. 7. I return and say: Perhaps I was one of the first to warn about the danger of Western studies like Rand studies, but I fear that "directed reactions" have become one of the main goals of these studies. 8. In all of this, they rely on the widespread mistrust among Muslims. 9. In addition, what is issued by these studies sometimes contradicts the reality of what governments adopt. Exaggerating in celebrating them means neglecting our real enemies' plots and keeps us busy with exchanging accusations and suspicions. 10. All of this confirms a very important principle: When we discuss the methodology of a group or an intellectual trend or positions and behavior, it is necessary that our reference in all of this is the texts of the Sharia, not what our enemies want from us, nor what that study or that study said.
