Psychological Deviation in Reactions!
- I don't care about commenting on an event as much as I care about addressing what the reactions to this event reveal, such as the terrifying flaw in thinking that some Muslims, even their "elites," suffer from. - The greatest principle for every Muslim should be to glorify Allah the Almighty and glorify His religion and its rituals. Whoever touches this glorification with any mockery or frivolity is the one who deserves the utmost hatred, as the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: (The strongest ties of faith are love for Allah, hatred for Allah, allegiance for Allah, and enmity for Allah). - All the words in the dictionaries of insults are not enough to describe any perpetrator of this great crime of mocking their Creator and Provider, glorified and exalted be He. - On the other hand, there are actions that come as reactions to this mockery... these actions should be discussed in a calm jurisprudential manner, discussing the benefits and harms based on the Sharia texts. - When the great crime is spoken of with calmness and "etiquette" in the form of (We disagree with so-and-so in his approach and do not agree with his methodology), while those with reactions are spoken of with hatred, hostility, and nervousness, this is psychological deviation, regression, and the death of the heart, and a serious indication of the fading of the glorification of Allah the Almighty in the hearts!! - It is astonishing that the first to deviate and make unbalanced emotional statements are the scholars of Sharia, preachers, institutions, and "Islamic" associations! Except whom Allah has mercy upon. - Your emotional statement, O "Sheikh," is worth nothing until it is based on what Allah said and what His Messenger said, and your stance does not gain any legitimacy except through the Sharia evidence. This is what our Messenger (peace be upon him) taught us when he said in the Farewell Pilgrimage: (Verily, all the practices of ignorance are under my feet) (Narrated by Muslim). All the foundations that are not based on the command of Allah are ignorance, and the stances built upon them are not worth a single date pit. - This speech is not to correct or condemn any action, but to correct the way stances are taken and to teach people to refer everything to Allah and to the Messenger. - If you, O "Sheikh," do not want to speak in a jurisprudential language, with the words "forbidden" and "permissible," and perhaps you do not want to confront the hadith of the blind man and his wife who used to belittle the Prophet, and the hadith of Ibn al-Ashraf, then clarify that you are speaking in your capacity as a "human emotional" being, away from your Sharia capacity, so that you do not mislead people that your stance is from the religion! - If you refuse to do so, then do not speak on behalf of others, and do not practice intellectual guardianship, for I believe that there are people like me who care only about the balanced Sharia discourse. - We do not like to clash with Christians in Muslim lands because the right of these noble people upon us is to invite them to the religion of Allah the Almighty and to encourage them to embrace it. We pity the Christians among us who are misled by some Muslims with their social hypocrisy and lack of zeal for their religion. If they saw from us sincerity and glorification of Allah as it should be, it would invite many of them to enter the religion of Allah the Almighty. This alienation from Islam through hypocrisy and lack of zeal is the fitnah! Yes, it is the fitnah. - The greatest fitnah is to mock the glorification of Allah the Almighty. O people! Allah the Almighty said about those who said (The Most Merciful has taken a son) in belief and religion, not in mockery... He said about them: (And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken a son" (88) They have certainly brought a great evil (89) The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation (90) That they attribute to the Most Merciful a son (91)). A word said in belief but does not suit the glory of Allah, and Allah the Almighty says that the heavens almost rupture from it and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse... so what about those who mock Allah the Almighty?! - I have always hated the title "Islamic" and "Sheikh"... because they are associated with slogans and appearances that may not match reality. I have seen people from the "common folk" who may be involved in sins, yet they are zealous for the religion of Allah and reject the psychological deviation they see from some of the "elites" unfortunately! Such a person is, in my view, a million times more Islamic than the "Islamists"! - If we lack the balance required to glorify the right of Allah the Almighty, we should not be surprised if Allah does not glorify our right in the hearts of those who control our affairs, so we receive kicks one after another! And Allah is the One Whose help is sought.
