Resizing the Call's Image - Women Driving as an Example
In the name of Allah, prayers and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah. 1. The scholars and callers of the nation have a great responsibility: the responsibility of liberating humanity from the shackles of the international system and its tentacles, restoring the stolen dignity of man, and establishing the religion of Allah Almighty, which spreads justice and mercy in all aspects of life. I see in the media hype over issues like women driving a diversion aimed at distracting the callers from these great tasks and belittling their image to make them appear as if they are ancient, rigid, and fossilized enemies of women who want to deprive them of their "rights" while they are cowardly in defending the nation's critical issues. On the other hand, the callers' commitment to their great mission is an opportunity for some of these "enemies" to become partners in uprooting the falsehood that occupies everyone with side battles. 2. One of the fatal mistakes is for a caller to praise the "firmness" of the Ministry of Interior and the "courage" of security men in confronting the "troublemakers" who demand driving! This makes the "scholars and the system" appear in one trench in the eyes of the people against whom? Against women!! We must not forget that the official authorities are the same ones who work tirelessly to Westernize the Two Holy Mosques' lands, secularize them, persecute, imprison, and torture those who stand in their way. What praise is there for preventing women from driving while opening universities teeming with mixing and immorality? What praise when the perpetrators themselves are the owners of channels of disbelief and debauchery that corrupt the entire Arab world, not just the Two Holy Mosques? What praise when dancing and singing festivals are held under state sponsorship while the authorities of enjoining good and forbidding evil are muzzled, arrested, and oppressed? If the officials want to prove their zeal for religion and combat the instigators of sedition and corruption in reality, then let them go after those who spare no effort in fighting the religion of Allah Almighty under the watchful eye of the official authorities! 3. It is never appropriate to portray the issue of driving as a battle of Sharia and Islamic identity! So that if the official authorities prevent it, they have protected the egg of religion and guarded the lands of the Muslims from corruption and corrupters!! In this, there is a scattering of dust in the eyes to distract from the complete neglect of Sharia in its fundamental aspects by aligning with the international system and following its orbit, fighting Islamic projects and callers inside and outside, while leaving the hands of the ignorant "secularists" free to vomit their hatred for Sharia in various media - even ignorance - means, infiltrating the Sham jihad and diverting its course, and so on. As for women driving, it is originally a jurisprudential issue that should be addressed calmly, while the criticism should be directed at the comprehensive system of corruption that some want this issue to be a link in its chain. 4. It is not possible to discuss driving in isolation from this comprehensive system mentioned. This system includes corrupting the youth and girls with obscene series broadcasted by channels owned by the influential in the official authorities, then silencing the voices that denounce this corruption and erasing the good role models, then it is desired that the girl moves with her car in this society where the barriers have been raised and lusts have spread like wildfire to apply what she and the youth see on the screens of the influential!! Regardless of the ruling on women driving if it were in an Islamic state, the problem is in using this issue within the system of corruption. This is what provokes some of the noble callers and pushes them to focus on the subject. We must distinguish between these noble callers on the one hand, and on the other hand, the "scholars and rulers" who prohibit women from driving and issue fatwas to justify America's control over their rulers! But we remind the noble callers of what we mentioned above about not diverting efforts into this relatively secondary issue, and saving efforts for the roots of the corruption system. As long as this system remains, the woman's exit with the driver, for example, will not be less harmful than her driving the car. 5. We say to those who cry over women's rights: In terms of priority and proportion, it is more appropriate for you to cry over the tragedy of the short one, the breaking of Maha Al-Dhahani's hand, and the disaster of the old woman Latifa Al-Khudairi with five of her imprisoned sons and then two of her daughters for the crime that they demanded their husbands! It is more appropriate for you to cry over the daughters, sisters, mothers, and wives of the thirty thousand political prisoners who are missing in prisons, and who live a continuous nightmare knowing that their relatives are subjected to torture and humiliation. Regardless of the ruling on driving, but if the goal is "women's rights" then aren't these rights more deserving of demand! 6. It is intended to highlight a category of women as if they are rebels against the laws of the state and against the "restrictions" of Sharia together! Passing the second under the cover of the first, so that they do not appear as renegades from religion, hypocrites, corrupt, filled with the garbage of the West, dazzled by their moral chaos, but as revolutionary, liberated, and courageous women! Otherwise, who sent them to study abroad in the first place to bring back the call of Westernization? And is it conceivable that it is not possible to stop them while they practice their calls freely, while the callers are arrested for a comment or an article on the internet opposing the state's policies?! Finally, I would like to remind my brothers and sisters of an incident that took place in Al-Ismailiya Square in Egypt in 1919 during the cunning British occupation when a group of women led by Safiya Zghoul and Huda Sha'arawi participated in a demonstration titled resistance to the occupation...and amidst the chants against the occupation, these women removed and trampled the veil!!!!! Without any occasion! So this square was later named: Liberation Square! These women were the ones who led the campaign of Westernization in Egypt later and spared Britain the trouble of occupation, so what is the obstacle for Britain if they chant against her as long as they implement her policies in the guise of heroines and role models! We ask Allah to guide the youth and girls of the nation to what He loves and is pleased with. Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah.
