The Remnant of Allah is Better

I entered a large store (supermarket) yesterday and noticed that it does not sell cigarettes. I "prodded" the salesman and asked him: "Do you have Marlboro?" He thought I was serious and said: "No, by Allah".. So I said to him: I asked you only to tell you: May Allah reward you with goodness for not selling cigarettes. And I remind you of what Shuaib, peace be upon him, said to his people: (What remains with Allah is better for you if you are believers), meaning: what Allah has left for you of the permissible (Halal) is better for you. And by Allah, one blessed Dinar is better than a thousand in which there is no blessing. The man was delighted by that. The point of the story: saying a kind word to people of principles is required to strengthen them in this time when materialism has prevailed, which has made adhering to the rules of permissible profit seem like a heavy burden in the eyes of many.. we need to strengthen one another so that we do not feel like strangers and break before the sweeping tide. And remember the saying of our Prophet, peace be upon him: (And a kind word is charity).
