The Train Hasn't Departed
For those who missed the opportunity for worship in the past days:
The train hasn't departed... the opportunity is still available. The coming days are the greatest, so let's strive in worship.
Dear people, do you know what we are approaching tomorrow?! The Day of #Arafah, about which our Prophet peace be upon him said: (Fasting on the Day of Arafah, I hope to Allah that it expiates the sins of the previous year and the following year)... fasting on a day by which the Most Merciful forgives sins of two years!
He also said, peace be upon him: (The best of supplications is the supplication on the Day of Arafah) (Al-Albani authenticated it).
Do you have hopes and needs that you wish Allah to fulfill for you, and worries you hope He will lift? The season has arrived!
Do you feel you have drifted away from Allah and wish to be brought closer to Him and find comfort in Him again? The season has arrived!
Has your heart hardened, and have diseases of the heart mixed with it, hoping that Allah will soften and purify it? The season has arrived.
Do you wish Allah to grant you His pleasure so He will never be angry with you afterward? Do you wish to be forbidden from the Fire? The season has arrived.
(There is no day on which Allah frees more people from the Fire than the Day of Arafah) (Muslim).
It is no wonder that Allah Almighty made the day following Arafah a day of Eid... so Muslims celebrate Allah's mercy, forgiveness, and generosity they hope for.
In Ramadan, the Night of Decree may elude us and we do not know when it is. But on the Day of Arafah, Allah has informed you of it.
If it is difficult for you to strive in the last five nights of Ramadan (the Witr prayers in the last ten nights), then how burdensome is striving on the Day of Arafah?
Have high expectations of Allah's mercy and the vastness of His forgiveness. Beware of the devil entering through the door of self-accountability, making you feel disconnected from your Lord and unworthy of His mercy...
(Indeed, Allah forgives all sins).
Do not forget to supplicate for your brothers and sisters in Gaza, all of Palestine, Sudan, and everywhere, that Allah may relieve their hardships and use you in supporting them in a way that expiates the sin of neglect.
O Allah, grant me, my brothers, and sisters success in righteous deeds that are accepted.
