Episode 3
Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah Dear brothers, we are still in the series ((They Are Not Equal)), through which we want to take pride in our Islam and remember that Muslims and non-Muslims are not equal in status, outcome, value, reward, or destiny. Allah the Almighty says: ((And not equal are the blind and the seeing, nor are the darknesses and the light, nor the shadow and the heat, nor are equal the living and the dead))... the living by faith and the dead by disbelief and polytheism. The believer's heart is devoted to Allah. When he asks, he asks Allah; when he seeks help, he seeks help from Allah. He fears none but Allah and hopes for none but Allah. When people harm him, he knows the flaw... that he disobeyed Allah, so people were unleashed upon him. His only concern is to please Allah, glorified be He, and he does not think of pleasing people afterward. As for the one who has no faith, he hopes for and fears the manager, the prince, the ruler, the minister, the small and the great. His heart is scattered, torn, and divided among people, hoping for them and fearing them, forgetting his Creator, glorified be He and exalted. Allah has given an example of the two groups in Surah Az-Zumar: ((Allah has given an example: a man with partners disputing, and a man belonging entirely to one man. Are they equal in comparison? Praise be to Allah, but most of them do not know (29)).) The polytheist, and indeed the Muslim whose heart lacks the fear and love of Allah, is like a slave owned by a group of masters. These masters differ among themselves, each one intentionally provoking the other, and the victim is this slave to all of them. If one of them sees the slave, he drags him to serve him and deprives the other masters of his service, and exhausts him so that he has no energy left to serve others! Until when he leaves him, another master takes him, punishes him, and beats him because he did not fulfill what he asked and does not excuse him by being enslaved to another!... Imagine the state of this slave, his tearing apart, and his scattering. As for the example of the believer, it is like a servant to one master who assigns him what he can do without provoking anyone, and excuses him if he makes a mistake, knowing his abilities and capacities and being aware of what he has accomplished in terms of tasks. The duty of this servant is clear: to please his master, fulfill what he commands, and seek forgiveness if he falls short. Then Allah, the Almighty, said: ((Are they equal in comparison))... ((Are they equal in comparison)) There is no doubt that they... ((They are not equal)). Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah.
