Episode 9

My brothers, today we conclude the discussion in the series (They Are Not Equal), in which we present the difference between the believer and the disbeliever with light from the Noble Quran, knowing that this comparison is very long, as this meaning may be the most repeated in the Quran after the issue of monotheism because it is the first fruit of monotheism. The believers, Allah said about them: ((And We removed what was in their hearts of resentment, [so they became] brothers on thrones facing one another (47))) (Al-Hijr) Look at this beautiful image of the purity of hearts, love, companionship, and affection. What did He say about the disbelievers? He narrated about Ibrahim (peace be upon him) what he said to his disbelieving people: ((And they have taken besides Allah gods, [saying], 'If our Lord had willed, we would not have taken companions [in worship] besides Him.' Say, 'Indeed, Allah is sufficient as Witness between me and you, and I have been given revelation from my Lord, and for whom Allah has not given revelation, then he is [only] in great error.)) (Al-Ankabut 25). That is, you followed this false religion to gather around it in this world with friendship and affection among you. So, your companionship with each other was more important to you than companionship with Allah. On the Day of Judgment, you will disown each other and curse each other. And He said: ((And those who disbelieved said, 'Our Lord, show us those who misled us from among the jinn and mankind [so] that we may crush them under our feet that they may be of the lowest.)) (Fussilat). Glory be to Allah! These same people used to honor their masters in this world, flatter them, and be hypocritical to them. They were ready to oppress the servants just to please their masters. But on the Day of Judgment, they ask to make these misleading masters under their feet.

In conclusion, the believer has a beautiful and pleasant conversation with his Lord. In the agreed-upon hadith, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: ((Indeed, Allah the Exalted says to the people of Paradise ((O people of Paradise)) they say, 'At Your service, our Lord, and Your good pleasure, and the good is in Your Hand.' He says, 'Are you pleased?' They say, 'How can we not be pleased, O our Lord, when You have given us what You have not given to any of Your creation?' He says, 'Shall I not give you better than that?' They say, 'What is better than that?' He says, 'I will make My pleasure with you, so I will never be angry with you after that.)) On the other hand: The last conversation between the people of the Fire and their Lord, may He be glorified: ((They will say, 'Our Lord, our wickedness overcame us, and we were [indeed] a people astray. Our Lord, remove us from it, and if we return [to evil], then indeed we will be wrongdoers.') He will say, 'Remain in it and do not speak to Me. Indeed, there was among My servants a party who said, 'Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and have mercy upon us, and You are the best of the merciful.') But you took them as a joke until you forgot My remembrance and were laughing at them. Indeed, today I have rewarded them for their patience that they are the successful ones.)) Then the speech of the disbelievers with their Lord is cut off, for He said to them: ((Remain in it and do not speak to Me.)) ((No, indeed, they from their Lord that Day will be [completely] secluded.)) So, are those who are pleased with them forever and those who are secluded forever equal? No, by Allah, they are not equal. So, let us thank Allah for the blessing of Islam, my brothers and sisters. And whenever we read the Quran from today onward, let us seek this meaning: no equality in principles, no equality in value, no equality in reward, and no equality in destiny. No equality! So, let us strive not to lose our Islam for anything. And let us strive to spread it as a mercy to humanity before it is veiled from its Lord. ((And say, 'Do [as you will], for Allah will see your deeds, and [so will] His Messenger and the believers. And you will be returned to the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, and He will inform you of what you used to do.)) (At-Tawbah) And peace be upon you.
