They stole our media, so let us be the media
Peace be upon you, brother, sister, one of the greatest blessings Allah bestows upon you is to turn your gaze from criticizing reality and being discontent with it to striving to change it... In our days, there is much discontent with the "degraded Zionist criminal media...etc." and those who believe it "the stupid, trivial, brainwashed people...etc." Question: Does this cursing change reality in any way? Or does it, in fact, reinforce the convictions of the victims of the media, who the media fills their minds with that the opponents of the military are "fanatics, extremists, terrorists, exclusionists"? Three days ago, I published a message titled (A message to the followers of Egyptian media) in which I speak gently to them and try to guide them to the path of truth in our days. One of the followers commented with a comment indicating her influence by the media, so she received responses like: (The alfalfa you eat, with flavor or without flavor?), (Stupidity has no religion)... And I wonder! Those who comment with these comments, what have they contributed to the call? Do they help the sister change her opinion? Do they contribute to lifting the oppression from the oppressed? And I say "the sister" because it became clear from discussing some sisters with her that she loves religion, is saddened by what is happening, but is influenced by the gasoline and fire: the mistakes of "Islamists" and the lies of the media... This sister herself, after following the message, commented saying: "I watched the video and may Allah reward you... Now, unfortunately, there is no one who applies the Sharia... O Allah, guide us to the truth in which we differ... Amen." And many of those who attacked us before returned apologizing, publishing the materials and defending them. My question: If we do not bear the comment of this sister and attack her with descriptions that do not befit her, how is it with those who are further from religion than her? And what do we gain by confirming the stereotype that the media tries to fill people's minds with about the opponents of military rule? Beloved, if we complain that the media is not in our hands, so it was in the days of the Prophet peace be upon him... To the extent that the pagans of Quraish would receive the stranger and warn him against the Messenger of Allah in advance, and the Messenger of Allah would not go among his people except that Abu Lahab would follow him and warn against him, then the hypocrites played their role in the state of Medina. But the truth of the Prophet was reflected on his face, so his face was a media in itself...until Abdullah bin Salam the Jew said: (When the face of the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him was confirmed, I knew that his face was not the face of a liar!) And Abu Bakr would pray in the courtyard of his house in Mecca and recite the Quran, ((and the women and children of the polytheists would throw things at him, and they would be amazed by him and look at him)) as in Bukhari...Why? The narrator said: ((Abu Bakr was a weeping man, he could not control his eyes when he recited the Quran, and this frightened the nobles of Quraish, the polytheists))... It is the truth of Abu Bakr that turned into tenderness in his voice and a tear in his eye, which played the role of sincere, effective, and dedicated media. Beloved, many of us have tarnished the image of the call...and the image of the bearded deputies sleeping in the session of the People's Assembly, and the like, is still present in people's eyes! So we must correct this image with our behavior with sincerity and sincerity, fearing that we may tempt people in their religion, before we fear that they will fight us for our religion. This aspect, the call with good character, is the strongest practical media, which no one can take away from us, and does not need the cooperation of satellites, which the callers neglected and lost a lot by neglecting it when they were preoccupied with it with electoral campaigns and defending wrong political practices. We need to recall this in all our daily practices, to prove our sincerity, honesty, productivity, and all the qualities that the media has stripped us of in people's eyes, and has drawn the opposite image that some of us - unfortunately - have contributed to consolidating. So your bad behavior in driving and trying to take someone else's turn reinforces in people's minds the accusation that the religious are selfish and want to impose themselves on people, your harshness in responding to those influenced by the media reinforces the image that we are extremists and savages, your lateness to work in your company and your failure in your studies reinforces in their minds that we are dependent, failed, and unproductive! You will say to me: We are now being slaughtered, hunted, and imprisoned! What call and good character are you talking about?! There is no immediate solution, brother, and we will not succeed if we continue to work in a way of managing disasters...The savagery and brutality of the oppressed may force them to resort to other means, but nothing can replace the purification of the image of the call in the eyes of the people again, otherwise we will have to face not only those who are enemies of Islam, but also those who love Islam but we have alienated them and made them side with our enemies by our bad behavior and harsh responses. If the remnants have distorted our image on the screens, then let each of us - with his sincerity, honesty, and character on the ground - be a mobile station...and if they have stolen the media, let us be the media.
