Episode 17 - When should you not think?!
Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah. Brother, sister, sometimes it is better not to think! Strange words, aren't they? When you hear the words of Allah, think and contemplate to know what Allah wants from you. But after this, do not think or calculate whether you will respond to Allah's command or not! Because after knowing the divine command, any thought or calculation is from Satan and the self that incites to evil, they cooperate to divert you from obeying Allah. Allah the Almighty said: ((Satan promises you poverty and commands you to commit lewdness)) And the meaning of the verse: Satan frightens you with poverty if you pay the zakat and give charity, and he whispers to you about lewdness, which in this verse specifically is the abstention from performing zakat.
Allah the Almighty said thereafter: ((But Allah promises you forgiveness from Him and bounty, and Allah is All-Encompassing, All-Knowing (268))), forgiveness for your sins and worldly bounty by giving you if you spend and bless your wealth.
Therefore, your thought of not paying zakat, your thought of stopping helping your needy sister, your thought of stopping allocating an amount for your mother every month to spend on herself...this thought is from Satan who whispers to you: (Your children's future is more important, tomorrow your expenses will increase and you will have to borrow, you will have to sell your house)...and so on. Cut the thought from the beginning because it is all whispers, and say to yourself: ((But Allah promises you forgiveness from Him and bounty)). And similarly, judge all other duties...for this verse has many applications: - An incident requires you to take a brave stance to support your oppressed and weak brothers...Satan will come to tempt you...the same rule: ((Satan promises you poverty and commands you to commit lewdness)), and here: Satan frightens you with the oppression of the oppressors and commands you to be cowardly, and Allah promises you protection and deliverance from the oppressors. Therefore, take the stance that Allah loves and cut off the thought of consequences. - You want to cover yourself and fear the reaction of your non-committed surroundings: Satan frightens you with the criticism of those around you and commands you to uncover, and Allah promises you that you will have a companion instead of those who left you and will make some of them follow you in this obedience. These are the promises of Satan, which are met with the promise of Allah...as for Satan...((He promises them and lures them, but what Satan promises is nothing but delusion)), and in contrast: ((The promise of Allah is true, and Allah does not fail in His promise, but most people do not know)). Which of the two promises will you believe? Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah.
