Episode 19 - Al-Wadud

Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah. Brother, imagine you saw a person you didn't know, so you smiled at him, then forgot the situation. But this person gives you a car and says to you: I will never forget your smile. You felt his sincere love for you. Then he keeps calling you to thank you for your smile. You fell into a dilemma, so he helped you and strove with you with his time, effort, and money. You got sick, so he visited you and fed you with his own hands. You felt shy from him and said to him: (I do not deserve all of this from you!). He said to you: (No! I will never forget your smile to my face). And he kept showing you the sincere love that is not tainted by worldly interests. What do you call a person like this? (Wadud)...Isn't that right? Don't you feel extreme shyness from the affection of such a person? Especially if you cannot repay his kindness and goodness? And Allah has the highest example! Allah, the Exalted, Al-Wadud, is pleased with His servant and loves him and honors him for very simple actions that the servant does not pay attention to...with one condition: that this action from the servant or his speech or feeling is purely for the sake of Allah. Shu'ayb, peace be upon him, said to his people: ((And seek forgiveness of your Lord, then repent to Him. Indeed, my Lord is Forgiving, Al-Wadud (90)) (Hud)

Look at the saying of the Prophet, peace be upon him: ((Indeed, one of you may speak a word from the pleasure of Allah that he does not think will reach what it reaches, so Allah writes for him with it His pleasure until the Day he meets Him)) (Sahih, narrated by At-Tirmidhi). A word that perhaps the servant forgot and did not think it would reach this extent with Allah, but He is pleased with it from the servant forever because He is...Al-Wadud. In the Sahih Hadith: ((There was a branch of a tree on the road that harmed people, so a man removed it, and he entered Paradise))...A very simple deed, but we are dealing with...Al-Wadud, the Exalted. Allah, the Exalted, multiplies the good deed to ten times, to seven hundred times, to many times because He is...Al-Wadud. A tear that falls from you in a moment when you contemplate the kindness of Allah, the generosity of Allah, the greatness of Allah, and the forbearance of Allah...a tear...Allah will shade you with it in His shade and prevent your eye from the Fire because He is...Al-Wadud. In the hadith narrated by Muslim, the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said: Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, says –so it is a sacred hadith-: ((Whoever comes with a good deed will have ten times its like, and more. And whoever comes with an evil deed, his recompense will be an evil deed like it, or he will be forgiven. And whoever draws near to Me by a hand's span, I will draw near to him by an arm's length. And whoever draws near to Me by an arm's length, I will draw near to him by a fathom. And whoever comes to Me walking, I will come to him running. And whoever meets Me with an earth's width of sin, not associating anything with Me, I will meet him with like it, forgiveness))...Yes. Because He is...Al-Wadud. Therefore: ((And seek forgiveness of your Lord, then repent to Him. Indeed, my Lord is Forgiving, Al-Wadud (90)) (Hud)
