Episode 30 - No One Can Hold Back Allah's Mercy

Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah. Dear brothers, in previous episodes, we discussed the importance of Muslims being mindful of their words and not justifying unlawful speech with good intentions. Some people use a phrase to describe someone without mercy, but this phrase is not acceptable according to Islamic law. This phrase is: (He does not show mercy, nor does he let anyone show mercy, nor does he let Allah's mercy descend). This phrase contradicts clear verses in the Book of Allah, such as His saying, Glorified is He: ((Whatever mercy Allah opens for people, no one can hold it back (2) )) (Fatir), and His saying, Glorified is He: ((If Allah afflicts you with harm, none can remove it but He; and if He intends for you good, none can withhold His bounty. He bestows it upon whom He wills of His servants. And He is the Forgiving, the Merciful (107) )) (Yunus). In the interpretation of His saying, Glorified is He: ((Whatever mercy Allah opens for people, no one can hold it back (2) )), Sayyid Qutb, may Allah have mercy on him, said: (Allah's mercy is not limited to any place or condition. Ibrahim found it in the fire. Yusuf found it in the well and in prison. Yunus found it in the belly of the whale in three darknesses. Musa found it in the river as a child, stripped of all strength and protection, and he found it in Pharaoh's palace, his enemy, lurking and searching for him. The companions of the cave found it in the cave when they missed it in the palaces and houses. So they said to each other: {So seek refuge in the cave; your Lord will spread for you of His mercy} and the Messenger of Allah found it in the cave with his companion, while the people were pursuing them and cutting off their tracks. And everyone who turns to it in despair of everything else found it) End.

Therefore, this verse brings tranquility to the heart, fills it with attachment to Allah, trust in His mercy, and reliance upon Him, and removes the fear of people...for ((Whatever mercy Allah opens for people, no one can hold it back)). Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah.
