Throwing Dust in the Eyes
If we talk about false ideas spread by someone, and then we find this person in worship.. Does this mean that the ideas he spreads were correct and our judgment about them was wrong? What is the legal methodology for dealing with such a situation?
1. If it is proven that someone spreads false ideas and at the same time performs some Islamic rituals, this does not make the ideas he spreads correct.. - Okay, why does he do that? It doesn't concern us..His problem is if he is in a state of duality, and he must justify it, not us.
2. Allah has explained what He accepts from the servant, saying: (Indeed, those who conceal what We have sent down of clear proofs and guidance after We have made it clear for the people in the Book - those are the ones whom Allah curses, and those who curse curse them (159)). This is for those who conceal the clear proofs and guidance..What about those who openly spread the opposite of the clear proofs of superstitions and the opposite of guidance of misguidance! In any case...what is required of those who conceal the clear proofs so that Allah may accept their repentance? Allah said thereafter: (Except for those who repent and correct themselves and make it clear - those are the ones I will accept their repentance, and I am the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful (160)). So, three things are required: (repent) and (correct) and (make it clear)..repentance with correcting what we have corrupted in the minds and beliefs of people, erasing everything we have produced from that, and clarifying the truth...not that we are satisfied with images that some people circulate on our behalf.
3. It is human nature to be annoyed if accused of something he is not..What if he is accused of destroying his religion and evidence is brought against that? It is expected of him to give a clear and sufficient explanation, not to remain silent as if the matter of religion is trivial and he is free to explain! While if it concerns a state that objected to the spread of incorrect information about it, apologies came out!
4. Allah commanded taking the apparent, not only in good, but also in evil, so that there is a balance between avoiding the oppression of individuals and preserving the sanctity of religion from having its landmarks destroyed under the cover of rituals practiced by its destroyer! No...but we say: showing reverence for rituals means nothing if accompanied by destructive calls. When it is something new, the beginning of a new era, then welcome and easy and welcome to the eye and the head. It is not our job to investigate intentions, and we are not in personal conflict with anyone..but we love for all people to be guided..and for those who do not, it is enough for us to prevent their harm to the youth, by preserving the dignity of religion and respecting reason and science. We do not care after that if we have wronged the people and they said: (You thought badly of so-and-so)...the important thing is to preserve religion and the necessities that came to preserve it, such as reason, and the intended purpose is achieved.
