Tonight I finally pronounced the two testimonies, praise be to God
For a month, a Christian man came with his Muslim friend to answer his questions... The meetings repeated, and I felt sincerity in his search for the truth... Last week, he told me he was completely convinced of the truth of Islam, so I asked him: What is the next step then? - He said: I need to feel more psychological comfort to take this step - I told him: And I need to eat knafeh in the next meeting 🙂 He called me the day before yesterday saying: Don't you want to eat knafeh? And indeed we ate it yesterday, praise be to God. The most important lessons from this event:
1. The young Muslim who brought him to me, like most young people, has his mistakes and weaknesses, but he loves God, His Messenger, and his religion as we see it, and each of us is on a front, and each of us has a duty to serve Islam.
2. Our new Muslim brother said: Three things were decisive in my Islam: - The certainty of the Muslim brother in the truth of his religion and his invitation to the Christian: (Come, let us discuss, and if you are convinced of the truth of your religion, by God I will follow it, and if you are convinced of the truth of my religion, choose for yourself what you want). Our friend said: (His amazing certainty in Islam cast doubt in my heart about my certainty in my religion)! - The second word that affected him was my saying to him: (If the naming is correct, then I am the Christian, not you! Because we Muslims are the true followers of Christ, peace be upon him, and our Prophet, peace be upon him, said: (I am the most deserving of the people of Jesus, son of Mary, in the first and the last, the prophets are brothers from different mothers, and their religion is one, and there is no prophet between us) agreed upon. - The third word: Our friend had asked us: (You have convinced me of the truth of Islam, but why do you want me to take off the garment of Christianity and wear yours? Convince me of the badness of my garment so that I take it off and wear yours). So I told him: (With your faith in Islam and the Quran, you do not take off the cloak of your faith in God and His messengers, but you clean this cloak of what is attached to it of impurities and wear over it the cloak of Islam. You, by entering Islam, do not lose anything but add. Your love for God will not decrease, but it will increase in love for Him and believe in His names and attributes befitting Him. Your love for Jesus, peace be upon him, will not decrease, but you will love him with the belief that he is an honored messenger from the greatest of people).
3. Among the decisive reasons for the Islam of our friend is also a series that one of the brothers advised me to watch, to the extent that he reached the nineteenth episode in it: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLaeiqSJqUjhxLWZuadvT4DPIIUq6bQRAE
4. It is painful that we are in a Muslim country and yet we hesitate to mention the name of the brother! We ask God to complete this matter for this nation with guidance in which Islam and its people are honored.
5. Despite these difficult circumstances that Muslims are going through, Islam still attracts hearts with its light and renews hope. A great religion, and the happy one is he who makes calling to it his concern and the center of his life.
6. Some people are only concerned with defending the idea of congratulating Christians on their holidays and participating in their rituals, so if they accept this for themselves, we do not accept for ourselves to deceive anyone and deprive them of the light by which they are saved and achieve eternal happiness. May each one choose for his deeds what he wants! We ask God to establish our brother on Islam and help us all to carry the trust and make us guided guides. (You were the best nation brought forth to mankind)
