Uprightness is the Greatest Honor

Sometimes one of us wishes for a "supernatural" honor... especially the afflicted, to feel that Allah is with him. But upon reflection, as our scholars said: (Uprightness is the greatest honor). When you, O upright Muslim, in this difficult time, are besieged by the devils of mankind and jinn... (their deception day and night), and some circles and centers work relentlessly, leaving no hour without effort! The matter does not stop at human capabilities alone, for (the devils inspire their allies), as we say: the devil thinks for them! They spend billions in media and have hundreds of strategic planning centers worldwide with massive budgets that prioritize (to hinder the path of Allah)... They spend billions on military wars (and they will continue to fight you until they turn you away from your religion if they are able)... And they are aided by people from your own kind, with Islamic names like yours, who (mix truth with falsehood) and cite the Quran while distorting its words from their proper places... If, despite all this, you remain steadfast in your religion, upright in following Allah’s command... Then what greater honor could you want than this?! And what greater miracle could you seek than this miracle?! (And if their deception were to vanish, it would move mountains) (a widely transmitted and authentic reading with the lam in 'tazūlu' dammah)...yet their deception does not vanish from your heart because of faith! Your faith is firmer and heavier than mountains! Thus, if you are upright, you have achieved for yourself an honor greater than the miracles people usually seek. For all this: Uprightness is the greatest honor.
