"We Have Nothing Left to Lose"
"We Have Nothing Left to Lose"... This phrase may mean that I am no longer afraid for myself, as I am ready to sacrifice myself.
On the other hand, it may mean: "We have lost everything, and the situation cannot be worse than it is. So why persist? Why continue? What will I lose if I stop trying to reform? Nothing!".
This is what we asked about in this survey... about this discouraging meaning. Most brothers do not think this way, but a significant number feel this way. So we say, dear brothers:
But there is much that we will lose if we do not continue with reform. There is ruin upon the ruin we are in. We are now in the midst of a frenzied campaign by the disbelievers and their remnants against nature, morals, and faith, and an attempt to make people ignorant of the basics of their religion, erase their identity, spread Abrahamic religion, secular Islam, Islam tailored to the rulers, drown the youth in desires and doubts, impose laws to destroy the family, take the woman away from the protection of her men and the children from the protection of their parents, and spread sexual corruption, which we have detailed in the series on the war against nature and much more.
A systematic, organized, supported, and coordinated attack from all angles, and the reformers are few... The results that this attack can lead to - if we surrender to it - are far more catastrophic than the current reality. And we will see its effects on ourselves, our spouses, and our children...
Our people in Gaza, may Allah relieve them and help us to support them, are being killed, while the Islamic peoples are being tempted in their religion. (And temptation is greater than killing).
We say this not to fear this attack in a way that paralyzes our work, but on the contrary: so that we do not become discouraged, do not stop working, and do not underestimate every good we do, every call to good and fighting evil, every right stance... within our capabilities and circles of influence.
And most importantly of all: the greatest thing we will lose if we surrender and stop reforming is our hereafter... (And do not be weak and do not grieve, and you are the uppermost if you are believers).
