The Rightful Parent of Science
Peace be upon you
In the previous episode, we corrected
the ancestry of science and explained
how it is the fruit of the system
of Belief in the Creator
which builds knowledge
on the basis of
innate nature, mind, observation,
and testimony
We also showed how science
is innocent of materialism
and that materialism is just masked
atheism that cannot stand on its own
or provide any benefit;
but is a virus pirating on the system
of belief in the Creator
All this requires many steps
to correct
the situation created by the lie
that science is related to materialism;
a lie ingrained in many people's minds;
fooling them for so long
We'll present these corrective steps
briefly today
as each requires a lot of detail;
beyond the scope of this episode
These steps are provided
for your contemplation
First: We need to stop
undermining science and presenting
the examples of its falsification
as a natural part of science;
as if science is the product of our enemy
to oppose our faith
Rather, science is the 'son' of our innate
system of belief in the Creator:
the kidnapped son!
And all the falsifications
and lies are the grime and stink
smeared by the kidnapper on science
to attribute it to himself
The deification of science
is also smeared dirt
of which science is innocent
As if science is screaming:
"Why are you cursing me
along with my masked kidnapper?
Isn't it enough that you neglected me
and left me to be kidnapped?
Now you're undermining me along
with my kidnapper and treating us as one?"
Our mission is to wash off
the grime and stink,
restore the purity of science,
and become its pioneers
This will make you feel that you and
your faith are inherent in this universe
Second: We should stop using
phrases such as
"This phenomenon
has no scientific explanation"
as evidence for the existence
of the Creator;
as if we're accepting that science
is the child of the masked kidnapper
and trying to prove its failure
by requesting evidence
outside the sphere of science
for the existence of the Creator
What's more evidence for the existence
of the Creator than science?
What proof is stronger than the precision
and fine-tuning of universal phenomena?
Much less their existence
in the first place?
And that all this requires
a Wise, All-Knowing, Capable Creator
Who is Independent of everything;
to Whom everything returns
This is the best evidence
to those of sound mind and heart
“Say, 'Look at what is in
the heavens and the earth'
But signs and warnings
are of no avail
for people who do not believe.”
(Quran Translated Meaning 10:101)
Miracles without a scientific explanation
were provided to the Messengers
to prove something
beyond the Existence of the Creator;
that they are truly His messengers
As for His Existence
Glory be to Him:
The fine-tuning of the universe
as described by science
is sufficient evidence for the Creator
for people of reason
Third: We should place science
in its proper place among its siblings
after we return it
to our family of faith
whose father is the system of belief
in the Creator
and its sources of knowledge
The siblings of science
are the other forms of ilm (knowledge)
which do not need labs, test tubes,
or reactions to prove them
Authenticated testimony of unseen things
from Allah and His prophet are true Ilm
because the sources of knowledge
in the system of belief in the Creator
prove the honesty of the Prophet
Peace and Blessing be upon him and
establish the truth of what
he told us about the Unseen
Science and the Unseen
are two branches of one tree;
and neither is required
to prove the truth of the other
Their common origin provides
sufficient evidence of their validity
If you understand this
you'll realize that it's meaningless
to contradict the Unseen
with science
You'll learn why we believe
in the authenticated Hadith
which tells us that Gabriel
Peace be upon him, has 600 wings
without scientific evidence
At the same time
you'll realize the total ignorance
in publishing an article titled:
"First 'scientific' proof
of life after death"
An important note to mention
dear viewers, is that
we use the term: system of belief in
the Creator because there is some
common ground between us and
others who believe in a Creator;
which differentiates us all
from the deniers
But, this doesn't mean that we and
the people of other religions are the same
in terms of the purity of the belief
system and its freedom from distortion
Rather, our faith is distinguished
by the authenticity and credibility
of its texts: the Qur'an
and tradition of the Prophet
Peace & Blessings be on him
as we'll explain later
Allah willing
Fourth: Re-defining the scientist
We call the Western
atheist researchers 'scientists'
to be brief.
But, when they start
blabbering nonsense
in a fit of materialistic fever
they become
the most ignorant of creatures
regardless of their academic degrees
or IQ scores!
They have a fundamental ignorance
that deprives them of benefiting
from their knowledge.
If they were truly knowledgeable:
“It is those of His servants
who have knowledge
who truly fear Allah.”
(QTM 35:28)
In the Hadith authenticated
by Al-Albany, the Prophet
Peace & Blessings be upon him, said:
“With every sunrise, all creatures
of Allah praise Him thankfully
except for devils and the idiots
of Adam's children.” (Al-Tabarani)
We ridicule the stupid sayings
of these scientists
Claiming that the universe emerged
spontaneously, without a creator
by a series of coincidences
is stupid
The claim of random evolution is stupid
Claiming an infinite
number of universes
to explain the fine-tuning
in our universe is stupid
Those with sound sources of knowledge
—even those with low IQ scores—
rise above such stupidities
Any useful science from
these Western scientists
is due to their reliance
on the sources of knowledge
in the system of belief in the Creator
and their denial
of materialistic stupidity
A true scientist has a sound
perception of the sources of knowledge,
a sound innate nature,
and a sound mind
He ponders the universe with his senses
using sound criteria for recognizing
and accepting authentic testimony.
This is the true scientist!
We shouldn't interpret the verse:
“It is those of His servants
who have knowledge
who truly fear Allah,” (QTM 35:28)
to mean only the scholars of verses;
their interpretation,
reasons,
and rules and
chains of Hadith narration
Rather, the scientist has
sound sources of knowledge
He benefits from the testimony
from Allah and His Prophet
so he benefits from science
(observing the universe)
which increases his guidance
His knowledge of Allah's written
signs (Quranic verses)
drives him to learn about Allah's
observed signs (in the universe)
“Say, 'Look at what is in the heavens
and the earth.'” (QTM 10:101)
Also, his knowledge of Allah's observed
signs strengthens his faith and
understanding of Allah's written signs
as can be seen from the context
of this verse:
“Did you not see that Allah
has sent down water from the sky?
Then We brought forth with it
fruits having different colors.
And among the mountains there are tracks,
white and red - of different colours,
and (others) utterly black.
And among humans and beasts
and cattle, there are those
with different colors as well.
“It is those of His servants who have
knowledge who truly fear Allah.”
Surely Allah is Mighty,
Forgiving." (QTM 35:27,28)
The verses present the observations
of the universe, i.e. beneficial science
So, there shouldn't be a separation
between scientists
and Shari'a scholars
Now, dear viewers
we've reached the end of this episode
and I ask Allah to make it
—along with the previous one—
a methodological milestone
to organize our thoughts.
