It's medically known that if a person has weak immunity, they should not receive a vaccine containing weak viruses. The immune system won't be able to form an appropriate response and antibodies; on the contrary, the virus may become active and cause the patient's demise.
Likewise when the Muslim masses have weak immunity against doubts...since they don't have doctrinal, intellectual, methodological, psychological, or faith immunity. Neither home upbringing, nor school, nor Friday sermons, nor media have provided them these immunities.
Exposing Muslims in this state to doubts under the pretext of "enlightenment" and "stimulating the mind" is exactly like exposing someone with weak immunity to a virus.
Whoever wants good for Muslims and for their faith not to be blind following without understanding must work on building these immunities in them:
- Doctrinal immunity with correct creed,
- Intellectual and methodological immunity by knowing sound thinking methods and distinguishing tricks and logical fallacies,
- Psychological immunity by reviving Islamic dignity and treating feelings of inferiority and psychological defeat,
- And faith immunity through upbringing to seek truth impartially and ridding oneself of obstacles of sins and heart diseases so that this applies to us: (O you who have believed, if you fear Allah, He will grant you a criterion)...to distinguish truth from falsehood.
And then, discussing a doubt scientifically and in the appropriate context will indeed generate a strong immune response in them.
