The abundance of our brothers' bloodshed in Syria must not cheapen it in our perception.. For the blood of a Muslim is precious even if people deem it worthless.. And the world is false, and in the Hereafter the precious will be distinguished from the cheap in its true reality.

(And We place the scales of justice for the Day of Resurrection)

So do not forget to console your brothers and bandage their wounds, even if only with your prayers and assuring them that you are with them.

O Allah, mend the brokenness of our oppressed brothers, have mercy on their weakness, accept their martyrs, heal their wounded, free their prisoners, cure their afflicted, and shelter their displaced. O Allah, support those who support them and abandon those who abandon them, and grant them from Yourself a protector and grant them from Yourself a helper, and employ us in supporting Your oppressed servants.
