Three news items during the past weeks:

1. The European Court of "Justice" decides that an employer has the right to ban the Islamic hijab in workplaces.

2. Chinese police prevent Muslim women from wearing covering dress and detain some women to force them to remove the covering dress.

3. A fine is imposed on a women's team in an Olympic sport for wearing clothing that is more covering than usual for this sport.

Three lessons:

1. The message in all of this is one: Modesty is forbidden! And a woman does not have the right to cover herself if she wants to! Note that those who impose these laws are usually males!

2. Where is the "Women's Rights" group? Why do we not hear their voices in such situations?

3. O Muslim woman who is able to cover herself and wear the hijab without harassment from anyone: You are in a blessing, so be grateful for it and obey your Lord regarding it.
