If you follow (Take what is pardoned) and are attacked and your chest tightens, remember (and turn away from the ignorant), so do not argue with them. Allah knows that commanding good exposes one to the harm of the ignorant, so He said: (Take what is pardoned and enjoin what is right and turn away from the ignorant). If after that you insist on pleasing them and are afflicted with grief and sadness from them, this is the punishment for violating Allah's command when He said: (and turn away from the ignorant)
