With the intensification of distress, much grief comes to those who tied their happiness to seeing the fruits of their da'wah and jihad in their lifetime. While those who settled themselves on working only in obedience to Allah's command remain reassured, for Allah's pleasure is provision sufficient for them on the long road, and they trust after that in Allah's wisdom in His decrees. (And whether We show you part of what We promise them or take you in death, upon you is only the [duty of] notification, and upon Us is the account)
