Ibn al-Qayyim, may Allah have mercy on him, said: The servant has two standings before his Lord: A standing before Him in prayer. And a standing before Him on the day of meeting Him. Whoever fulfills the right of the first standing, the other standing will be made easy for him. And whoever takes this standing lightly and does not fulfill its right, that standing will be made difficult for him. Allah says: ((And during part of the night prostrate to Him and glorify Him a long night through (26) Indeed, these love the immediate and leave behind them a grave Day (27)))
