Ibn al-Qayyim said in (The Path of the Two Migrations): Sadness weakens the heart, enfeebles determination, and harms the will, and nothing is more beloved to Satan than the sadness of the believer. Allah the Almighty said: (Secret counsels are only from Satan that he may grieve those who have believed). Therefore, dear ones, our enemies want to sadden us... Therefore: (So do not weaken and do not grieve, and you will be superior if you are [true] believers).
