The occupier used to imprison us... So we looked at him as an occupier and knew he was our enemy and sought to free ourselves from him... But over generations he managed to remove the chains from our hands and bind our hearts with them... Then he opened the prison door and left... We looked...thought we were free, but found our lives were the lives of slaves! There's nothing in the scene but us and remnants of religion, so some of us attributed the failure to ourselves and to it! And looked at the (distant) occupier with admiration! So the first step to the solution: break the chains from the heart, correct thought, and liberate the soul.
