How great is Allah's blessing upon us when we can hold the Quran whenever we wish and read from it easily. I remember the story of the young man Abdullah Bana'mah who was negligent in his prayers and obedience to his parents, then was afflicted with complete paralysis. He was asked what do you wish for and what do you miss after your paralysis? He said: Three things: 1. To prostrate to Allah one prostration, and I fear when I read (and they are invited to prostrate but are not able). 2. To turn the pages of the Quran with my hand...you see this as ordinary but it is like mountains to me, I wish for it 3. To enter upon my mother on a joyful day or Eid and embrace her to my chest. My brother, my sister...do not neglect the Quran...your youth before your old age
