Allah Almighty says in the Hadith Qudsi: (My servant does not draw near to Me with anything more beloved to Me than what I have made obligatory upon him) (Al-Bukhari). A few hours remain until the passing of this great day about which our Prophet, peace be upon him, said:

(There is no day on which Allah frees more servants from the Fire than the Day of Arafah) (Narrated by Muslim).

And the greatest thing you can draw near to Allah Almighty with is performing what He has made obligatory upon you, which you may have neglected until you no longer remember it.

Whoever wants the fasting of the Day of Arafah to expiate the sins of two years, the past year and the coming year, this is conditional on avoiding major sins and not persisting in them, otherwise, it is feared that you will deprive yourself even of the expiation of minor sins as Ibn al-Qayyim explained (in the comments).

From now: Announce a campaign to cleanse your life from major sins: from neglecting prayer, undutifulness to parents, usury, severing ties of kinship, injustice in inheritance, consuming people's wealth unjustly, despising Muslims, cheating, aiding disbelievers or hypocrites against Muslims in any form of aid, wickedness in quarrels, neglecting the upbringing of children or spending on them and commanding them to uprightness, displaying beauty (Tabarruj), false testimony, injustice in all its forms, and others.

(And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord and a garden as wide as the heavens and earth, prepared for the righteous).
