Allah says in the Divine Hadith: (My servant does not draw near to Me with anything more loved by Me than the religious duties I have imposed upon him) (Bukhari). Only a few hours remain until the end of this great day about which our Prophet peace be upon him said:

(There is no day on which Allah frees more people from the Fire than the Day of Arafah) (narrated by Muslim).

And the greatest thing by which you draw near to Allah is performing what He has obligated upon you of what you may have neglected until you no longer remember it.

Whoever wants, by fasting the Day of Arafah, expiation of two years' sins, the past year and the coming year, this is conditional on avoiding major sins and not persisting in them, otherwise you risk depriving yourself even of expiation of minor sins as Ibn al-Qayyim explained (in the comments).

From now: Declare a purification campaign for your life from major sins: from falling short in prayer, from disobedience to parents, usury, severing kinship ties, injustice in inheritance, consuming people's wealth unlawfully, disdaining Muslims, cheating, aiding disbelievers or hypocrites against Muslims in any form of assistance, lewdness in disputes, neglecting children's upbringing or spending on them and commanding them to uprightness, immodesty, false testimony, injustice in all its forms, and others.

(And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord and a garden as wide as the heavens and earth, prepared for the righteous).
