The decline of the Gaza "trend" never means that the suffering has receded. The brothers in charge of feeding the people there complain about the severe decline in support for projects. There are food items available in the markets, whose images in the media give the illusion that Gaza is fine, but they are at very high prices that exceed the capacity of the vast majority of people. Charity kitchens are closing their doors to the starving due to lack of funding, and people are starving in front of full shelves because they cannot afford the price of what is on them.

It is not fitting for Muslims to turn their backs on their brothers as the suffering prolongs; rather, its length and the exhaustion of our brothers' souls are reasons for more sympathy. The weakness of media coverage of a problem never means it has been solved.

Therefore, this is a call to shed light on the needs of the vast majority of our people there and to seek reliable ways to support them.
