To express that someone's thinking is silly or superficial, they say: "Like Stone Age man."
It's an expression with false meaning, and some use it without realizing its implications.
For its meaning is that ancient man was deficient and backward mentally/emotionally/morally, and then these things evolved in him over time. These are delusions held by followers of the myth of evolution. Yet many who use the expression "Stone Age man" don't even think of this myth and don't believe in it.
Let us remember that the first man was Adam "peace be upon him," meaning a prophet of the prophets...complete in mental, emotional, and moral capacities.
And with the passage of time after Adam, people in their thinking and morals would rise and fall according to their faith and disbelief.
So human/intellectual/moral progress and regression have absolutely nothing to do with the antiquity or modernity of time, and absolutely nothing to do with man's ability to ascend to the moon or descend to the layers of the earth and inventions and discoveries, except that we say that man's faith drives him to develop the earth and benefit people.
We are now in the twenty-first century, in the era of tremendous technological explosion, yet the ideas of the majority of people have been polluted, their perceptions distorted, their logic warped, and their morals at their lowest and basest level for many, such that if the so-called Stone Age man saw them he would say: "Praise be to Allah who has spared us from what He has afflicted many of His creation with!"
