In the comments on the word (A Message to My Christian Neighbor) that we posted yesterday, one of them said: "Hajj was a pagan ritual, yet Islam approved it. The intention is what matters!" !! Of course, this is a huge mistake! Hajj is not a pagan ritual.

Rather, the prophets, including Ibrahim, peace be upon him, performed Hajj. Allah the Almighty said: (And proclaim to mankind the Hajj [pilgrimage]. They will come to you on foot and on every lean camel, they will come from every deep and distant mountain highway). The pagans after Ibrahim, peace be upon him, corrupted the rituals of Hajj, then Islam came and purified them from their polytheism and restored them to monotheism.

There is nothing in Islam whose origins are pagan, and this is one of the self-evident truths of Islam. However, schools, universities, and media do not teach these self-evident truths that give Muslims their distinction, independence, and pride in their religion... Rather, they teach dilution, domestication, and the erasure of identity, except for those upon whom Allah has mercy, to the point where the origins of Islam are hidden from the young before the old!

(Indeed, my Lord has guided me to a straight path, a correct religion, the religion of Ibrahim, inclining toward truth, and he was not of the polytheists).
