Educators emphasize the necessity of praising the appearance of your son or daughter. This strengthens their self-view and acceptance and makes them love themselves. No matter what they look like, they are indeed beautiful and good, as Allah the Almighty says: (And We have certainly created you in the best of forms). Teach them that they are beautiful as they are, and not to compare themselves to hollow celebrities from singing and acting, who care for their outer shells rather than their inner selves and hearts.
At the same time, do not overemphasize the beauty of your son or daughter... because this teaches them that appearance is the standard, the measure of superiority. They will then overfocus on it.
This is in addition to the mistake of mothers, especially in overemphasizing the beauty of this or that person who is not their child... You see them talking to their friends or relatives in front of their children about the beauty of so-and-so... This builds in children that the standard of superiority is this, and that their focus should be on it, from which psychological complexes and self-rejection begin, and even resentment toward Allah’s decree at times! If the child sees that their appearance is not beautiful.
My son/my daughter: You are beautiful... Do not compare yourselves to others, take care of your health, maintain your appearance, and remember: (Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you).
