Why Are You Important?: A Lecture That Will Change Your Perspective on Yourself and Life
Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings, dear brothers.
One of the lectures I have given myself is titled "Why Are You Important". I have not previously published it on social media platforms, but it was only available to those who participated in the "You Are Important" competition two and a half years ago. Many have expressed that it left a deep and lasting impression on them.
This lecture is like a pair of glasses you wear, allowing you to look at yourself and the world around you in a completely different way.
Lecture Elements
This lecture consists of several main points:
First: The Importance of Self-Worth Awareness
We start by defining the importance of the topic: why do you need to know and understand that you are important in the first place?
Second: Results of the "You Are Important" Survey
We review the results of the previous and current versions of the survey, in which more than sixteen thousand participants took part. We asked them: "Do you feel your importance most of the time?" And if the answer was "no," what are the reasons?
We provided eight reasons for the participants to choose from, then we start addressing these reasons that prevent you from feeling your importance and make you look at yourself negatively.
Third: Breaking Limits and Divine Favor
We address these reasons one by one in detail; the goal is to break these limits so that we can then embark on a journey of "Divine Favor with the Human Race".
We will go through more than 26 to 27 stations where we review how Allah honored this human race. In fact, personally - although I had the information before - when I gathered these "scattered beads," I felt the greatness of this honor, and how if we neglect it, we descend from this high peak to a deep valley, and we seek refuge in Allah.

- How Do We Lose Our Importance?: We discuss the actions and paths that take this value away.
- Status with Allah: How does one of us know if he is important to Allah the Almighty or not?
- Practical Effects: The applications and practical reflections of your realization that you are important.
