A Message to the "Strong Independent Woman"
Peace be upon you and the mercy of God, my brothers and sisters..
From many observations that have reached me and whose details I have reviewed, I can say - by God - that "Islamic feminism" and the misguidance of some families and acquaintances in corrupting the woman against her husband, do not work among Muslims what their military arsenals do not achieve; in destroying the family and wasting the children.
Does injustice from some men also occur? Yes, indeed, but the slogan of the current phase for international organizations is to destroy the family through the woman primarily, and they have achieved significant successes in this regard.
Policy of Devaluing Constants and Exalting Materialism
International organizations have succeeded in instilling many values in the woman's mind, including:
- Devaluing the blessing of children.
- Devaluing the great importance of protecting the husband's chastity.
- Devaluing the important task of raising children well, and the immense impact this has in this world and the hereafter.
- Devaluing the blessing of leadership (Qawamah).
- Devaluing the important role of being a fundamental pillar in the fortress of the family that confronts the evils of mankind and jinn.
All this devaluation is in contrast to their emphasis on values such as: obtaining higher education (even at the expense of the aforementioned), or a salary that she may not even need, or "proving herself" to herself who has devalued the aforementioned and thus no longer finds value in it, and to others who are deceived like her.
Selectivity and Manipulation of Sharia
For a segment of women, the driving force is achieving these accomplishments by any means; if they find what they want in Sharia, they use Sharia, and if they do not find Sharia in accordance with their desires, they leave it behind and resort to the law. If they find what they want in institutions affiliated with international organizations, they knock on their door, and if they are in a Western country, they use its laws even if they contradict the Sharia of their Lord, and in all of this, they interpret for themselves and justify their actions.
Does this woman realize that when she employs Sharia when she wishes and disregards it when she wishes, she is like those whom Allah says about them: {Do you then believe in part of the Scripture and disbelieve in part?} (Quran 2:85) Does she realize that she mocks herself when she numbs her sense that she is right in what she does, while in reality she disobeys her Lord and rebels against His commands?
Consequences of Rebelling Against Fitrah
Does she realize that she is living in a transitional phase where her dignity is only preserved by the remaining Islam in society; including concepts of jealousy for sanctities, the man's responsibility towards the woman, nobility, modesty, and chastity? All of this prevents hands from reaching her despite poverty, unemployment, tyranny, and widespread injustice in the lands of the Muslims.
Does the woman realize that this "honeymoon" phase is almost over, revealing a scene of destroyed families, widespread evils, and women stripped of the protection of men, leading many women and girls to find themselves in the hands of those who control wealth and international organizations, human traffickers, pimps, spreaders of sexual deviance, and those who demean human dignity?
Does she realize that these people do not spare a believing woman's honor or dignity, and when they humiliate and degrade her - as they did to the Western woman - her complaints to the "hotline" or family protection associations will not help her? Does she realize that she will regret it when it is too late? Does she not hear the saying of her All-Knowing Lord: {O you who have believed, if you obey those who disbelieve, they will turn you back on your heels, and you will [then] become losers.} (Quran 3:149)
What is happening - my brothers - is painful in that the enemies do not reach from an ignorant person what the ignorant person reaches from himself, but at the same time, it raises the spirits to work with the certainty that there is a very large space for reform; as Allah says: {And if you are patient and fear Allah, their cunning will not harm you in any way. Indeed, Allah is encompassing of what they do.} (Quran 3:120)
This is a message I invite you - my sister - to contemplate, away from the noise around you, for whoever deafens your ear to hearing the truth will not carry any of your burdens on the Day of Judgment. Allah says: {And if one heavily laden calls another to carry [his load], nothing of it will be carried [by the other], even if he should be a close relative. You can only warn those who fear their Lord unseen and establish prayer. And whoever purifies himself does so for the benefit of his own soul. And to Allah is the [final] destination.} (Quran 35:18)
