After Parliament's Approval of the Child Law

Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah.

The True Reference in Islam

Noble people, a few days ago, the House of Representatives approved the Child Law. Of course, we repeat in every context that the true reference is our Creator, our Provider, and to whom we will return, Allah the Almighty. And it is not for a believer, male or female, when Allah and His Messenger have decided a matter, that they should have an option in their affair. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly gone astray in a clear error. So, everything that contradicts the Sharia of Allah the Almighty is null and void, and it is not valid to present it for acceptance or rejection.

Approval of the Law and Its Implications

But let us see what happened with those who rely on alternative references, claim to adhere to them, and claim that they want the benefit of the people with them. The House of Representatives approved the law, and nothing prevented them from doing so, despite what the concerned published and the voices of the sons of Jordan raised for weeks, with evidence of the danger of this law to our families and children, and that the amendments to the law are merely formal and do not avert its danger.

Moreover, the campaign "The Child Law is Poisonous" indicated in its statement what happened in the session of approving the law of a strange and shocking event. In the previous session, the Speaker of the House of Representatives had proposed an amendment to the second article, the most dangerous in the law, which defines the competent authorities, opening the door for external, private, and civil institutions to intervene between us and our children and corrupt their religion and morals.

Article Two: The Competent Authorities

Let us listen to what he said: "This article, brothers, if its form is fat, it contains poison from within, or the word civil is not permissible to be stipulated. I see the definition out of fear that NGOs, which we do not respect and do not honor, will be implemented, because I know their source and I have spoken under this dome before. And I still believe that they are destructive organizations for society, and destructive organizations for the values of society."

Indeed, this article was amended to relatively reduce the danger by deleting the competent authorities and the civil, which includes NGOs. Deleting them from the definition of competent authorities. However, in the session of approving the law a few days ago, the voting on this article was reopened in the last minutes to include these authorities in the definition of competent authorities again, and thus give them the authority to destroy our societies.

Arguments for Reopening the Vote

Warning and Call to Action

After all this, I say to those who do not care about the matter and do not feel its danger to their children: "You will remember what I say to you, and I entrust my affair to Allah. Indeed, Allah is All-Seeing of the servants." And I bear witness to Allah that I have striven diligently to repel this danger from the sons of the Muslims, myself, and some of the brothers, knowing its severity and its evil. O Allah, have we conveyed? O Allah, then bear witness.

And I say to the brothers who interacted and exerted effort in defending against the law: Remember the saying of Allah the Almighty: "Do not despair or be weary." Brothers. Your deeds are written with the One who does not lose the reward of the good-doers. Turn your concern and sorrow into diligent work. Shake off laziness and begin a new phase whose title is zeal, patience, and arming yourselves with what is necessary of knowledge and awareness. And remember the saying of the teacher of positivity, peace be upon him: "If the Hour is about to be established and one of you has a sapling in his hand, if he can prevent it from being established until he plants it, let him plant it." All of this is deposited with Allah to establish you and preserve you in your religion, yourself, your family, and your children in the expected trials.

Repentance and Focus on Education

And to those who have been short in defending their children in the past, repent to Allah by turning to the religion and the future of your children and the reform of their worldly and hereafter affairs. Will we leave you with these generalities? No, but we will intensify the publication in the field of education and addressing the children with the permission of Allah the Almighty, for every stage has its servitude. We need patience, brothers, we need patience, remembering in all of this that our destinies are not in the hands of these people but in the hands of Allah the Almighty who says: "And if you are patient and fear Allah, their cunning will not harm you in any way. Indeed, Allah is encompassing of what they do."

The role is upon us to achieve patience and piety. Our Lord, help us and do not make us helpless, support us and do not support against us, plot for us and do not plot against us, guide us and facilitate guidance for us. O Allah, employ us in defending the children of the Muslims and the children of the world, and preserve us in ourselves and our families. And peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah.
