Among the Most Important Mistakes in Prayer: The Position of the Feet in Prostration
Peace be upon you and the mercy of God, my beloved in God. Among the most widespread mistakes in prayer is when one of us, while prostrating, places one foot on top of the other, as shown in the picture.
The Prophetic Guidance on the Members of Prostration
And in the hadith narrated by Bukhari and Muslim, the beloved Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said: "I was commanded to prostrate on seven bones: on the forehead - and he pointed with his hand to his nose - and the two hands, the two knees, and the tips of the two feet."
The Prophet, peace be upon him, indicated his forehead and nose as if they are one piece, in addition to the two hands, the two knees, and the tips of the feet.
Advice for the Prayers
So let us, brothers, strive to have both feet on the ground during prostration at the same time, and let us remind our praying brothers of this.
Peace be upon you and the mercy of God and His blessings.
