Greetings and Peace be upon you, and the mercy of Allah.
A Call for Opponents of Muhammad Morsi to Take a Noble Stance Against al-Sisi's Speech
This message is primarily for the opponents of Muhammad Morsi. I say to you, and I too am one of his opponents, because I stand with Islam wherever it stands, and Morsi's rule was not a victory for Islam. I ask Allah to remove him from the hands of the military, to guide him, and to use him in His obedience.
However, at the same time, I call upon you, the free and noble Egyptian, to also oppose military rule. And when I say "the military," I mean primarily the leaders of the army, and there is a message for the individual soldiers at the end of this speech.
Who is the Military?
The military that is allied with the secularists who mock your religion and your Prophet. The military that enjoys a large portion of the country's budget without being held accountable for its expenditures, and which has ensured that it is not financially accountable in the new constitution.
The military that protected the regime of Hosni Mubarak for 30 years, while Hosni humiliated the Egyptian people, enslaved their children, and forced them to emigrate in search of a livelihood, while the country is full of resources.
The military that killed protesters and dragged girls in the squares during the January Revolution. The military that previously fought the people of Upper Egypt and handed them over to be tortured in prisons and assaulted the honor of their daughters and sisters to surrender themselves.
The military that pumped raw sewage into the tunnels of Gaza and filled them with dirt on your brothers in faith who were using them to smuggle baby milk and medicine, drowning them in raw sewage and destroying them with dirt. And today, it is sending Syrian refugees back to their countries to be subjected to the worst torture by Bashar.
The military whose conscience and loyalty were bought by America and the Zionist entity, which the Zionist entity has sought for decades. The military that was supported by Gulf states with billions, which previously did not support you, O Egyptian people, and did not give grants to Hosni Mubarak except to suppress and keep the chains of slavery around your neck.
A Message to Opponents of Morsi
The military leader al-Sisi is asking you today to give him a mandate to kill and suppress your brothers and the sons of your country, not out of concern for the interests of the country, no by Allah, but so that he can control the levers of the state and satisfy his ambitions.
I am not calling on you to join the ranks of those demanding the return of Muhammad Morsi to power, or to go down to his squares, but I am asking you to prevent al-Sisi from exploiting your silence and claiming that he has a mandate from you.
O free Egyptian, beware of psychological polarization, beware of psychological polarization. Your rejection of Morsi's rule should not prevent you from rejecting the tyranny of the military at the same time. The matter should not be seen as if there are only two choices: supporting Morsi or supporting the military. But I declare to Allah that I am innocent of any rule that does not make the whole matter and the whole religion for Allah.
If you remain silent about injustice and think that military resolution will achieve stability, then I warn you of what the Ikhwan and Salafis before you were warned: whoever seeks stability through disobedience to Allah or silent complicity in disobedience, Allah will deprive him of stability.
The Ikhwan and Salafis have long been warned of the consequences of abandoning the Sharia and abandoning their brothers until they reached their current state. And I warn you against aiding the oppressive military against your brothers, many of whom have not come out to support Morsi, but because they see their Islamic identity threatened. They have come out because, under al-Sisi, there has been an attack on the bearded and the worshippers, and they see the purging of the Ikhwan as a prelude to the purging of anyone with an Islamic appearance or project, pure or impure.
They have come out because they see arrogance from the media, secularists, and the church towards the religion of Allah and His Messenger. If al-Sisi oppresses these people and you remain silent, then expect a bad outcome. And know that the military, state security, and the interior ministry, if they smell the blood that their knives spill, will not hesitate tomorrow to provoke acts of bombing and killing that will affect you and your families to justify their continued oppression and bloodshed.
Take a noble stance, otherwise, I say to you as I said to them before: "You will remember what I say to you, and I entrust my affairs to Allah." I call upon you, the noble Egyptian who loves your religion and rejects both sides, to go out tomorrow to say: "I am not a supporter of Morsi, but al-Sisi does not represent me."
A Message to Followers
The second message is to my brothers who follow me and ask: What should we do? I say: I have two principles that I will not deviate from, and I ask Allah to guide me with them.
The First Principle: Disassociation from the Military, the Nour Party, and Evil Countries
Disassociation from the military, the Nour Party, and the evil countries that have only supported the coup out of fear for their thrones and hatred for any project that could lead to Islam one day or prepare the way for it. We are innocent before Allah of all of them.
The Second Principle: Not Calling for Gathering in Places with Incorrect Flags
I have never called upon my brothers to go down to a place that I see as incorrect, and I will not call for gathering in a place whose flag I see as incorrect. I cannot call for increasing the number of people in a place whose raised flag is democratic, legitimate, and a return to Morsi to rule by positive law as he did. And I do not see that correcting the intention and making it for Allah and pushing the attacker is sufficient. But it is necessary to consider the flag of the gathering in the eyes of the general public, and we must ask ourselves if it is said to the general public, not the demonstrators: For what purpose have these people gathered? Why have these people gathered in the squares? If the answer is for the return of Morsi, then this is not an issue that I call for supporting or demonstrating under.
And what I said before, I say now: We defend our individuals if they are attacked in their homes, mosques, or shops, but we do not support a false cause nor be present in its squares. And to those who say: This is an illogical obligation, the Ikhwan will not leave those squares demanding legitimacy, either we support them in those squares despite the corrupt slogans or not. I say: This is not our fault, and we are not the ones demanding to join the illegitimate, but they are the ones demanding to abandon these false slogans. The slogans and flags that have led them and the Islamic project astray.
And presenting the equation in this way: Either increase the number of Ikhwan in Rabaa and Nahda squares under mixed chants, or you have abandoned them, this binary division is rejected intellectual terrorism. All of this while knowing that the issue is no longer an issue of the Ikhwan, but I do not see that supporting the religion and Islamic identity is in gathering in places whose slogans are ignorant.
The Ikhwan and Salafis are now in dire need of turning to Allah and repenting from their sins. They are in dire need of making their slogans, flags, and demands pure, not increasing the number and size of pictures of Morsi or expressions of democracy and what they call legitimacy. Unless the flags and demands can be corrected and made clear in the eyes of the general public, it is necessary to separate and distinguish. And now, some gatherings with pure flags opposing military rule or demanding the rule of Sharia have appeared, so be with them, my brothers.
As for those who hesitate to go out for fear of oppression and killing, this is not something I can advise on, and it is not a matter of religious principles, but you know your situation better. There must be a balance between avoiding the shedding of your blood and the military's attack on you, and on the other hand, knowing that if the military consolidates its power, the Emirates will also not be safe from its evil and war against your religion and call.
A Message to the Soldiers
And finally, to the soldiers who are led by your military leaders as if you were deaf machines, not that they belong to Islam and servitude to the Lord of the heavens and the earth: Enough, O soldiers, of the sins you have committed as a result of your obedience to your leaders in disobeying Allah. And remember a difficult day when your leaders will disown you, for those who were followed will disown those who followed them when they see the punishment and the means are cut off from them, and they see the punishment and the means are cut off from them. And those who were followed will say, "If only we had another chance so we could disown them as they have disowned us." Thus, Allah will show them their deeds as regrets upon them, thus Allah will show them regrets upon them and they will never be out of the Fire.
You are the ones who could have led your nation towards glory and liberation. Are you content with yourselves to be a tool in the hands of the dark forces, and behind them the powers of the West and the East, used to humiliate your people and your nation, and to put their necks in chains of slavery in exchange for a little worldly gain? Is it not time for you to repent before you meet Allah, who will hold you accountable for every drop of blood they have shed?
I ask Allah to rectify the nation of Muhammad with His mercy. Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah.
