Alright brothers, we have returned to the broadcast. The stream is back up, Abu Nabil. My brothers, if the stream cuts out again, we will not return today; we will look for a solution to the problem, and God is the One whose help is sought. However, out of respect for your time and your joining us to hear the competition and the questions, we will continue. If it disconnects, we will stop for today so that we do not keep cutting out and returning, and we will seek a solution, God willing.
We said that for some sins, the ugliness is not erased simply because you did not commit them; rather, the mere thought of them is a crime. Mention three words from a noble verse that pointed to this meaning.
The answer, noble guests, is: "And they meditated the expulsion of the Messenger." God Almighty says: "Will you not fight a people who broke their oaths and meditated the expulsion of the Messenger, and they took the initiative against you the first time? Do you fear them? But God has more right that you should fear Him, if you are believers."
Notice, they should have revered the Prophet, peace be upon him, and respected and honored him. Instead, they meditated to exile him and expel him from his homeland and strove for that as much as they could. Thus, they deserved to be fought because of this intention. God incited the believers to fight those who meditated this: "Will you not fight a people who broke their oaths and meditated the expulsion of the Messenger."
I believe there is an internet problem, so we will try the next question. What is the verse that carries the same meaning as the prophetic tradition: "Wretched is the slave of the dinar, the slave of the dirham, and the slave of the fine garment. If he is given, he is pleased, and if he is not given, he is displeased. Wretched and fallen he is, and if he is pierced by a thorn, may he find no one to pull it out"?
The verse is the statement of God Almighty: "And among them are some who criticize you concerning the charities. If they are given from them, they are pleased; but if they are not given from them, at once they are displeased."
The seventh question: A word appeared in today's portion of the Quran meaning "kinship," what is this word? (Answers came from YouTube and Facebook, and the intended word is "Illan" as in the statement of God Almighty: "They do not observe toward a believer any kinship or covenant of protection.")
By God, my brothers, I suggest we stop here today until we find a solution to this technical dilemma, as the stream is constantly cutting out. Let us stop at this point, and we will send the points to today's winners.
We ask God to make it easy for us to return to you with a better broadcast than this. Our winners are: Sister Duaa Ahmed from Facebook, and Sister Maryam from YouTube. We stop here, and the remaining questions will be reserved for the next episode, God Almighty willing. Forgive us, and may God bless you, and peace be upon you and the mercy of God.
