Closure of many Quran memorization centers - in whose favor?
Students of the Andalus Quran Center in Tabarbour-Amman pose for a photo after it was closed by a decision from the Ministry of Awqaf, along with dozens of other centers. The center stated that it had submitted all required documents and followed all procedures, and its administrators did everything possible to keep the center a Quranic haven for our children this summer. What 'alternatives' await these children, and our sons and daughters whose doors to dozens of other centers have been closed? Many alternatives!!: 1. Internet cafes 2. Addiction to electronic games 3. Filling the void with phones in the hands of children, exposing them to films and immoral advertisements 4. Music festivals in Jerash, Aqaba, and various regions of Jordan 5. Following social media influencers who produce trivial content, imitating their actions and absurdities 6. Following channels that spread doubts and suspicions about Islam, funded and supported by Arab and Western countries 7. 'Dating' websites between males and females and the resulting relationships 8. The streets, including some that involve swearing and blasphemy against Allah and religion at times! 9. Deadly boredom, which is in itself a corruption 10. Those with agendas to combat fitrah and spread immorality
We have the right to ask: In whose favor is all this?!
