Don't Be Afraid

Do Not Fear

Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah. May Allah make your morning good, dear honorable ones. Some people, when they hear about the war against Islam, the conspiracy against Islam, they fear, become bitter, and avoid thinking about the topic. Do not fear, do not become bitter, and do not avoid it, but rather simply imagine the rope of Allah that is extended.

The Rope of Allah

What should you do? "And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided." What is the rope of Allah? The Quran, the Sunnah, and His religion, may He be glorified and exalted.

The Conspiracy and Fear

As for the conspiracy of these people? Never mind them at all. "It is only that Satan frightens his devotees," meaning he frightens you from his devotees, "so do not fear them, but fear Me, if you are [truly] believers." The rope of Allah will not be cut, "And Allah will bring forth a light by which you will walk [straight], [even] though the disbelievers hate it." And these people will not stop their conspiring, "And they will continue to fight you until they turn you back from your religion, if they are able."

The Required Work

So, what is to be done? The work is to be patient. Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, has made them a trial for you, "And We have made some of you a trial for others; will you be patient? And your Lord is Ever-Seeing." So do not become bitter, do not be distressed, and do not fear, but rather all that you have to do is to hold firmly to the rope of Allah.

And remember the saying of the Prophet, peace be upon him: "Know that if the nation were to gather together to benefit you with something, they would not benefit you with anything except what Allah has already decreed for you, and if they were to gather together to harm you with something, they would not harm you with anything except what Allah has already decreed for you. The pens have been lifted and the pages have dried."

The Result of Steadfastness

Therefore, dear honorable ones, all that we have to do in the face of this conspiracy, this planning, and this attack on Islam is to stand firm on our religion and seek help from Allah, "And when My servants ask you concerning Me - indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me."

And at that time, these conspirators and enemies of Islam are like mules, meaning like beasts, they will lead us to Paradise as we gain good deeds from their attack on us, our patience, and our steadfastness in the face of it, and they will be made light in the Fire, simply. "And do not be weary and do not be grieved, and [remember] that you will be superior if you are [truly] believers."
