Egypt's Curriculum Committees Focus on Pharaonic History and Consider Islamic Conquests "Arab Raids!"

Egyptian curricula
There is an initiative to cleanse curricula of religious bias, not targeting religions themselves, but rather removing sectarianism. In 2014 and 2015, curricula were purified, and it is expected that they will be completely changed by 2021. I believe that work on this is already underway.
Looking at what the Muslim Brotherhood did to curricula previously, we find that they introduced religion into every detail and every subject; they imposed a religious tint on philosophy and history as well.
The section dedicated to Pharaonic history in textbooks has been significantly reduced, while focusing on history beginning with what they describe as the "Arab conquest."
This is due to their belief that Egypt was not created or began until the seventh century CE, as if what came before is merely a trivial matter of no value, despite Egypt being the origin of civilizations. However, they do not acknowledge this in the history books they have produced.
