Peace be upon you and the mercy of God, dear esteemed audience. I noticed a beautiful phenomenon that is truly a good omen, and I wanted to share it with you. Those who followed with us during the past two Ramadans may recall that there was a competition titled "Tabyanan Likkulli Shay'."
The idea of the competition is to present a specific question, situation, or meaning, and we ask our brothers and sisters who are following to bring a verse that indicates this meaning or answers the question. The goal is to encourage contemplation of the Book of God, the Almighty.
We announced the names of the winners from last Ramadan, and we have not yet announced the names of the winners from the most recent Ramadan (we will announce them soon, God willing). However, what is noteworthy and very beautiful is that when I looked at the specializations of the winners, they were as follows:
We had three brothers and three sisters. The specializations of the brothers were:
Notice the nature of the specializations of these brothers and sisters. Similarly, in the previous year, there was another competition titled "Let Them Contemplate His Verses," which was dedicated to children and adolescents aged 11 to 16. Those who actively participated with us in formulating and arranging the questions were also distinguished in the "Tabyanan Likkulli Shay'" competition, and the nature of their specializations was: one of the sisters is a graduate of the Faculty of Education, a brother studies medicine, and another brother also studies medicine.
These brothers have a great interest and an amazing and wonderful quick wit in answering the questions; they are people who live with the Quran. We consider them among the people of the Quran, and God will hold them accountable. Nevertheless, they are distinguished in their mentioned specializations.
Therefore, when some people say, "I am not currently devoted to reading the Quran or contemplating it," let them look at the condition of these brothers and sisters who are role models; they are distinguished in their fields and in important and prestigious specializations, and at the same time, they give from their hearts, souls, time, and effort to the Book of God, the Almighty.
Their specialization in these fields makes them understand more the meaning of God's saying, the Almighty: "Say, 'Look at what is in the heavens and the earth,'" and they understand how to be successors on this earth, and it makes them contemplate the creation of God, the Most High, and use a scientific research methodology in religious matters and natural matters alike.
The point of this observation is to give everyone their due; study your specialization and try to excel in it and master it, and at the same time, strive to approach the Book of your Lord, the Almighty, with contemplation, reading, and memorization, and God, the Almighty, will bless you in both aspects; He will bless you in understanding His Book, and He will bless you in your specialization.
We ask God, the Most High, to bless these brothers of ours and make them role models. This is great good news; because when we have a generation that understands the Book of their Lord and is distinguished in their specialization, this is, by God, good news and a good beginning. And I know that there are many like them in the nation of Muhammad, peace be upon him.
Soon, God willing, we will announce the names of the winners from the most recent Ramadan season, and we apologize for the delay due to certain circumstances. May God bless these brothers of ours and accept it from all of us. Peace be upon you and the mercy of God.
