The fourth and final factor is exerting extra effort. We saw in the first episode, my brothers, from "Psychology of Deviance" that a person who undergoes great pain and hardship to obtain something gives that thing much greater importance than someone who obtained it with little effort.
In the case of Islamic movements, it has been very clear that they were expected to exert great effort in parliamentary elections, spending time, money, and effort to rally votes and organize campaigns. Then, great effort was exerted to obtain the presidency; this came after excluding some candidates, then fielding new candidates who appeared corrupt. The position was not obtained in the first round, nor was it by a significant margin.
Exhausting Efforts in Political Paths
The same applies to the constitution and the military's imposition of figures in its establishment. At every station of these stations, the scare of "the secularists and the remnants" arises, and the sword of the constitutional court is wielded to cut the ropes and lead the people to a new, illusory lifeline.
All of this is so that Islamic movements give great importance to the meager achievements they reached with great effort. The presidency is a position stripped of powers; the president is merely a servant of the existing system that clashes with the Sharia, and a cover for this system with a "beard" that lends it legitimacy, then bears the heavy burden of its corruption.
The Value of Achievements in the Minds of Movements
These positions have come to be seen as something to be defended and fought for, and outrageous concessions have been made for them; because they reached them after exerting great efforts that increased their value in their minds. However, these achievements in themselves have turned into defeats and a heavy burden with destructive consequences for the call to Islam.
And so that the parties do not wake up from the stupor of concessions, and do not knock on the door of true relief, it was necessary to distract them periodically with achievements that they find in the corners of the hallway of failure. Sometimes they are allowed to change the leadership of the army, and sometimes they are deluded into playing a historical role in the Gaza war.
Inflating Achievements Between Both Sides
These achievements are then inflated by both sides:
- The Agent Media and Political Circles of the Zionist-Crusader Axis: They pretend to be terrified of these achievements, pretending that the father is afraid of the plastic sword that his child brandished in his face, even though the father is the one who brought him this toy! If the political circles were truly afraid of the results, they would have moved the armies recklessly as they did in Mali.
- Islamic Movements and the Media Sympathetic to Them: They inflate these achievements and search for them with a microscope in the corners of the hallway; because they do not want to wake up to the bitter reality of failure, nor to accept the mistake of their path and the necessity of rectification and knocking on the door of true relief, which these parties do not want to bear the consequences of now.
