For Those Who Harm Muslims Just to "Make a Living"

There are great hadiths that touch our reality but are not widespread among Muslims, so it is necessary to work on spreading them. Among them is this great hadith narrated by Imam Ahmad, Al-Hakim, Abu Dawood, and authenticated by Al-Albani.

The Noble Hadith and the Punishment for Harming a Muslim

Our Prophet, peace be upon him, said: "Whoever eats the wealth of a Muslim, Allah will feed him similar to it in Hell, and whoever clothes himself with the wealth of a Muslim, Allah will clothe him with similar to it from Hell."

Again, the hadith is narrated by Al-Hakim in his Mustadrak, Imam Ahmad in his Musnad, Abu Dawood, and authenticated by Al-Albani. Our Prophet, peace be upon him, said: "Whoever eats the wealth of a Muslim, Allah will feed him similar to it from Hell, and whoever clothes himself with the wealth of a Muslim, Allah will clothe him with similar to it from Hell."

Explanation of the Hadith and Warning Against Harming Muslims

This means a person causes the ruin of his Muslim brother's home, causes harm, bears false witness against him, and may be among the enemies of Allah. A large and expensive clothing will be clothed with similar in Hell, Allah forbid.

This speech is for those who say, "What should I do? I want to earn a living." And in order to earn a living, he is ready to bear false witness against the Muslim or cause him harm and ruin his home, and may be among the oppressors. He says to you, "What should I do? What can I do with my hands?"

He eats and drinks and clothes himself, eats his children and drinks them and clothes them and houses them and educates them from causing harm to Muslims. This is the nature of his work, Allah forbid.

May he remember that the blood of Muslims is equal, and that you are not more honorable than your Muslim brother, and that it is not permissible for you to enjoy at his expense. Do not laugh at yourself nor justify with the many excuses we hear, but man has insight over himself even if he throws his excuses.

This is what I wanted to say to you. A great hadith that should be spread so that those who cause the ruin of Muslim homes or harm them under the title "We want to earn a living" may fear Allah.
