How to Get Answers to Your Religious Questions
Peace be upon you, dear brothers. In this segment, I will guide you on how to obtain answers to your Islamic and religious questions.
Obtaining Answers to Your Religious Questions
Islam Question and Answer App
From the store, type "Islam Question and Answer". You will see many options. For example, I chose this option. You download the app and click on it. There are no ads in it.
How to Use the App
You type the question you want. For example: "Can someone who has debt give charity?" Write the text of the question, and you will see many answers and different titles. You choose the title closest to your question, for example: "The ruling on giving charity with money before paying off debt."
The beauty of the website is that it gives you a detailed legal opinion:
- Which scholars hold a particular opinion.
- When it is permissible and when it is not.
- What are the evidences from the Quran and Sunnah.
- Then it prefers the opinion which it considers the strongest.
Examples of Questions
For example, you can ask about the permissibility of donating to someone who wants to get married. It is not necessary to write the question completely. You can write, for example: "Zakat for marriage" or "donation". Clear? But if the question is about Zakat for marriage, write the text of the question. And you will also see many answers.
The beauty is that the answers are sometimes detailed with practical means. Also, you can ask about certain sects, for example: "Qadianis". Suppose you have a Qadiani colleague at work and you want to know information about Qadianis. You write "Qadianis", and you will also see a set of answers such as "Qadianis in the balance of Islam" and so on.
Features of the Website and Its Methodology
The beauty of the website, my brothers, is that it is comprehensive and very beneficial. It has answers to almost everything that comes to mind. And the answers are wise and up-to-date with the needs of the people.
The one who supervised its answers is Sheikh Muhammad Saleh Al-Munajjid, may Allah preserve him and return him safely to his loved ones. And the Sheikh's methodology in general is good, and he has stances in speaking the truth and refusing to appease the people of falsehood. We ask Allah to release him.
Is it necessary that everything on the website is the most correct fatwas? No, but it is sufficient that it has a Sharia methodology in answering and on clear bases and with evidence. If you refer to it, you may have obeyed Allah the Almighty when He said: {So ask the people of the reminder if you do not know.} (Surah An-Nahl, 43)
And Allah knows best. Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah.
