Announcement of Promotion to Professor

And what grace you have is from Allah, dear ones. I received news of my promotion to the rank of Professor, meaning a Doctor of Pharmacy, by the grace of Allah the Almighty. I wanted to share my joy with you, my brothers and sisters in my large family.

Academic and Research Journey

The rank of Professor is the highest academic rank, where a doctor graduates from a PhD program with the rank of Assistant Professor. Then, if they publish a sufficient number of peer-reviewed research papers, they are promoted to the rank of Associate Professor. After that, after another number of research papers, they are promoted to Professor, meaning a Doctor.

The promotion came after a long research journey in which I published research papers in international journals. They have been cited 571 times, in addition to my two patents. The H-Index on Google Scholar is 13, which is good for the rank of Professor.

I thank Allah that I was diligent in earning the rank through my own efforts. I did not accept having my name on any research paper in which I did not have a real contribution. I had to move between more than one university due to circumstances beyond my control, which usually weakens scientific research. In addition, I was busy with preaching, video series, and many other circumstances.

However, with all of this, Allah the Almighty made it easy for me to work on scientific research in various health fields. 24 research papers were published in journals with impact factors ranging from 2.5 to 8, by the grace of Allah the Almighty, which is a high impact factor. They have been cited 58 times in less than a year. Most of the research papers submitted for the professorship are in ISI Q1 journals, meaning the first category, the highest category.

Thanks, Appreciation, and Supplication

I will not hide from you that working on scientific research and promotion files took a lot of time. I now hope that Allah will make it easy for me to return to the preaching series without completely stopping scientific research.

And I will not forget, after thanking Allah the Almighty, to thank my parents, my brothers, my family, and my friends who have always been supportive. And to thank my colleagues who cooperated with me and who complemented each other. And I will not forget to thank you, dear ones, pray for me with goodness. And to thank the brothers and sisters who help me in the preaching projects, which provided some time for scientific research.

And my true rank, which I am honored with, is being a Muslim from the nation of Muhammad, peace be upon him, a brother to you in Allah. Say, "By the grace of Allah and His mercy, with that let them rejoice. He is better than what they gather." And I ask you, dear ones, to pray for my brother that Allah benefits him and his promotion, and that He makes it in the interest of Islam and humanity.

May Allah reward you greatly for me and guide you. And I ask Allah for me and for you and for all Muslims elevation in this world and the hereafter. Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah.
