Peace be upon you and the mercy of God. I look forward to seeing a comment from you. Praise be to God, the comments have started. The brothers have received the broadcast. With God's blessing, in the name of God, praise be to God, and prayers and peace be upon the Messenger of God.
This is the fourth episode of our competition "Explaining Everything." We have, as I mentioned to you, ten questions, and all of our questions today are from today's portion (the fourth part).
The first question states: It is reported in a sound hadith, "Verily, Allah gives the world to him who loves and to him who does not love, but He does not give faith except to him who loves." Mention a word in a verse from the fourth part that conveys this meaning.
The answer is a single word, a word added in the context of the verse that gives us this meaning: that the world is for him whom Allah loves and for him whom He does not love, but the Hereafter is only for him whom Allah loves, in response to those who say, "Allah loves him because He has given him much wealth," for this is not a sign of love, but the sign is in the reward of the Hereafter.
The correct answer: The word is "حَسَنَ" (hasana), in His saying, the Most High: {So Allah gave them the reward of this world and the blessing of the reward of the Hereafter. And Allah loves the doers of good}. Al-Zamakhshari said in Al-Kashshaf: The word "hasana" indicates the excellence of this reward in the Hereafter and its precedence, and that it is what is esteemed by Him, glorified and exalted be He.
The second question: Some people think they do not have anything to contribute to the nation's battle against its enemies, and they say, "If the door of jihad is opened, Allah will see what I do. But now, there is nothing I can do." Mention a verse from the fourth part that clarifies to these people that adhering to Allah's commands and avoiding His prohibitions will be a great help to them in steadfastness if the door of jihad is opened to them.
Many people say, "What can I do in this battle?" Brother, if you adhere to Allah's command, this in itself is steadfastness for your nation. If you do not stand firm on Allah's commands now, it will be an opportunity for Satan to sneak in and shake you in the difficult situation.
The correct answer: It is the saying of Allah, the Most High: {Verily, those of you who turned back on the day the two hosts met, it was Satan who made them slip because of some of what they had earned}. What they had earned from previous sins was an opportunity for Satan to make them slip in the battlefield.
The third question: Taking money from people without right is one of the causes of their collapse and loss. Mention a verse that indicates this meaning (it is not necessary that the verse be a text on this meaning, but it may be a text on the opposite contrary image).
The destruction of the economy and the withdrawal of money from the hands of people and Islamic societies is a cause of their fall and collapse. Therefore, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Whoever is killed defending his wealth is a martyr."
The correct answer: Allah says: {And do not give the fools your wealth which Allah has made for you a means of support}. The verse indicates that money is the "means of support" for people, i.e., by it their interests are established and their affairs are set right. If it is lost or placed in the hands of those who are not worthy, it will be a cause of collapse.
The fourth question: Among the Muslims are those who do not value monotheism as it should be valued and do not value the abomination of disbelief, so you see them saying about some disbelievers that they may be better than some Muslims with Allah because of the charitable works they do. Mention a verse from the fourth part that you can use to respond to these people.
He who does good to people and denies the Lord of people, let him take his reward from people. But he who magnifies the right of Allah knows that the disbeliever, no matter what good he does, may be given his reward in this world, but his deed will be nullified in the Hereafter.
The correct answer: Allah says: {The example of what they spend in this worldly life is like a wind with frost that struck the crop of a people who wronged themselves, and destroyed it. And Allah did not wrong them, but they wronged themselves}. Allah likens the manner of their spending - whose outward appearance is impressive but whose end is disappointing - to a crop that was struck by a cold wind and destroyed it because of their disbelief.
The fifth question: Mention three words from today's portion that indicate that the servant performs the greatest deeds in Islam and then is in need of Allah's forgiveness.
That is, the Muslim should not be arrogant about his deeds and say, "I have certainly entered Paradise," but he should be certain that he is in need of Allah's forgiveness even after the greatest sacrifices.
The correct answer: Allah's saying: {I will remove from them their evil deeds} in the context of His saying: {Those who emigrated and were expelled from their homes and suffered in My cause and fought and were killed - I will remove from them their evil deeds}. Despite emigration, harm, and fighting, Allah grants them the removal of evil deeds, indicating their need for forgiveness.
The sixth question: The rejecters are averse to prohibiting evil on the pretext that it threatens the "social fabric." Mention five words from a verse that responds to these people, clarifying that abandoning commanding good and prohibiting evil is the real cause of division and difference.
Most rejecters do not have a big problem with "commanding good" such as prayer, fasting, and charity, but their war is focused on "prohibiting evil" because they are its people. Their argument is that these transgressors are part of society, and denying them causes fitnah. However, the truth is that sanctifying the deviant human and his desires at the expense of Allah's right is the greatest danger.
The correct answer: Allah's saying in Surah Al-Imran: {And let there be from you a community calling to good, commanding right, and forbidding wrong. And those are the successful}, then He said immediately after: {And do not be like those who divided and differed}. The verse indicates that abandoning this duty is what leads to division, and true unity can only be on the truth.
The seventh question: Mention a word from today's portion that indicates the merit of this Ummah in that Allah described it with what He described a prophet from among His prophets, except that this merit is for the believer according to his faith in Allah.
This noble description with which Allah described this Ummah is according to your faith. It was said to a prophet from among the prophets in a difficult situation.
The correct answer: The word is "الْأَعْلَوْنَ" (al-a'lawn), in His saying: {And do not be weak and do not grieve, and you are the uppermost if you are believers}. The similarity is that Allah said to Moses, peace be upon him: {He said, "Fear not. Indeed, you are the uppermost} and described the Ummah here with exaltation related to the condition of faith.
Question Eight: A verse was revealed about a group of the Companions, even though it began with something resembling blame (a weakness they showed), but they did not wish it had not been revealed because of two words in it. What are these two words?
The verse was revealed about two groups of believers (Banu Haritha and Banu Salamah) when they hesitated to return on the Day of Uhud, but they stood firm with the Prophet peace be upon him.
The correct answer: The two words are: "And Allah is their Protector". Allah the Almighty said: "When two parties among you were about to lose heart, but Allah was their Protector, and upon Allah let the believers rely." Jabir bin Abdullah may God be pleased with him said: "We did not wish it had not been revealed because of Allah's saying: {And Allah is their Protector}." Despite mentioning "the inclination to fail," Allah affirmed His protection over them.
Question Nine: A term that is not mentioned in the Quran except in this part, and it is mentioned twice in two different verses with different meanings and rulings, and the consensus has settled the ruling on both. What is this term?
This term carries two different meanings in the two places, and it is not mentioned in the Quran except in this part (Surah An-Nisa).
The correct answer: The term is "kalalah". It is mentioned in His saying: "And if a man dies leaving no direct heir but a sister, she shall have half the inheritance" (at the beginning of the surah), and in His saying: "They ask you for a legal verdict. Say, 'Allah gives you a verdict concerning the kalalah.'" (at the end of the surah). The kalalah is one who dies leaving no children or parents.
Question Ten: Khabaab bin Al-Aratt may God be pleased with him said: We complained to the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him while he was leaning on his cloak under the shade of the Ka'bah, and we said: "Will you not seek help for us? Will you not supplicate for us?" He said: "Verily, those before you were taken and holes were dug for them in the ground... nothing could deter them from their religion... but you are hasty." Mention a verse from this part that carries the same meaning in steadfastness despite difficulties.
A verse that describes the great steadfastness of previous nations and prophets, and not weakening in the face of trials.
The correct answer: His saying: "And how many a prophet fought with many a worshipper of false gods and was not weakened by what befell them of disaster in the cause of Allah, nor did they weaken nor yield. And Allah loves the steadfast."
The verses and hadiths that inform us that the matter will ultimately be for this Ummah are a great blessing. When you know that the outcome is decided for your army in one word, even if you are hurt or wounded, you remain joyful because you know that the soldiers of Allah are the victorious. We are certain that Allah will accomplish this matter with honor or humiliation.
We apologize for any technical issues, and it seems that the broadcast today was excellent by the grace of Allah. We will see you tomorrow, God willing. May Allah bless you and reward you well. Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
