The Conspiracy to Preserve the Syrian Regime

Events in Syria are accelerating, and we would like to highlight one aspect of the conspiracy against it in this statement, so that Muslims can take their positions with full awareness. It is indeed painful that the Syrian revolution is entering its third year, yet there are still those who side with the Alawite regime under the pretext of it being subjected to a conspiracy, and others who are still waiting for good from the Syrian National Coalition.

The Position of the International System and the Coalition

More than five months ago, in the speech "Combating the Islamic Project in Syria" and the subsequent speeches, we explained that the international system does not conspire against its protégé, the Alawite regime, but rather works to maintain it. It is conspiring against the Islamic project in Syria, and the coalition is simply one of the tools of the international system to stop the Islamic tide and preserve the Alawite regime.

Let us judge these expectations against reality by reviewing the course of the coalition up to this day, focusing on the issue of dialogue with the regime instead of overthrowing it. We will see that the coalition was intended to appear as a representative of the Syrian people, gaining their support with promises of working to overthrow this regime, then the international system gave the green light to the Bashar regime to continue its crimes, making the coalition's demands to stop these massacres. The price it pays to carry out this mediation: the exclusion of the Mujahideen, thus hijacking the Syrian revolution, leading to the dream of the Islamic project, and wasting the blood of the martyrs.

The Initiative of Dialogue with the Regime

Upon its formation, the coalition initially emphasized that there would be no dialogue with the regime, its symbols, or its representatives. Then, Moaz al-Khatib announced on 30/1/2013 in his meeting with Reuters his readiness to sit directly with representatives of the regime, in exchange for what? In exchange for the release of detainees and the extension of Syrian passports abroad.

Then, three days later, al-Khatib met with the Iranian foreign minister at the Munich Conference. An act that was considered a clear betrayal, but is now justifiable, as al-Khatib came out to say: "We agreed on the necessity of finding a solution to end the suffering of the Syrian people." Who did we agree with? With Iran, which sends its militias daily to Syria to rape women and kill children! Therefore, a call for dialogue with the regime and rapprochement with its supporters.

Reactions to the Dialogue Initiative

Of course, this call for dialogue was a big surprise, and it was necessary to absorb the anger of the street. Members of the coalition quickly rushed to condemn and demand the removal of al-Khatib, while others in the coalition supported the initiative. Then, a week after the initiative, the National Council announced its rejection of the removal of al-Khatib, claiming that his initiative enjoys support in the Syrian street.

Then, on 15/2, the coalition's spokesman came out to confirm that the political bureau had agreed to al-Khatib's initiative, and that members of the Ba'ath Party could participate in the proposed negotiations "if their hands are clean of blood." The ruling Ba'ath Party has clean hands according to the coalition, while everyone knows that even the small Shabiha have blood-stained hands and violate honor! Therefore, the coalition ultimately stood as one behind its president.

Then, my brothers, it became clear that the coalition, with this initiative, expresses what is in the conscience of the international system, which is devoid of conscience. Every wounded person rushed to describe it, and the French foreign minister described it as "a proposal worthy of great appreciation," then the Iranian foreign minister supported it, then the UN secretary-general described it as "an opportunity that should not be missed," then the Russian foreign minister Lavrov supported it, then the closing statement of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries in their meeting in Saudi Arabia supported it.

Then, on 12/3/2013, the US Secretary of State said: "We want Assad and the Syrian opposition to sit at the negotiating table to form a transitional government." What about the Bashar regime? Representatives of the regime welcomed this in more than one place, including the statement of the Minister of Information Omran al-Zoubi: "The door is open, the table is ready, and welcome to any Syrian who wants to come and discuss and dialogue with an open heart."

The Friends of Syria Conference in Istanbul

Then came the backbreaker last Monday at the Friends of Syria Conference in Istanbul, which revealed the cheap tasks of the coalition with complete clarity. The coalition announced its acceptance of negotiations with the Assad regime again. The conference's resolutions, or rather the conspiracy, were published by the London-based Al-Hayat newspaper and stated: "Opposition sources told Al-Hayat in London that the Americans informed the opposition leaders clearly that all aid would be through the leadership of the Free Syrian Army with the aim of isolating the extremists, and that the goal is to change the balance of power on the ground, not to overthrow the regime militarily, and that the opposition must realize that it must negotiate with the regime to launch a transitional phase."

The news continued: "The coalition had presented a document rejecting all forms of terrorism, pledging that the weapons obtained by the Free Syrian Army would not reach the wrong parties." In the same news: "Agreement on the formation of a group of friends of the Syrian people to implement specific and immediate measures to disable Assad's ability to use chemical weapons through surgical strikes by unmanned aircraft, in addition to imposing a no-fly zone and protection on the northern border with Turkey and the southern border with Jordan to ensure the return and safety of Syrian refugees."

Clauses of the Conspiracy

So, they agreed on the following:

  1. Dialogue with the regime, not its overthrow.
  2. Isolating extremists, rejecting all forms of terrorism, ensuring that weapons do not reach them, and changing the balance of power on the ground against them.
  3. Implementing operations by unmanned aircraft. These aircraft, whose name has been associated in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen, Somalia, and North Africa with tracking Mujahideen and bombing Muslims, are actually tasked with targeting Mujahideen and preventing them from reaching weapons caches.
  4. Imposing zones that appear to be protection zones, but are actually zones of siege and tightening the noose.

All these resolutions were issued on the same day that the forces of the Assad regime carried out their largest massacre, killing more than 500 men, women, and children in the countryside of Damascus, some of whom were slaughtered and burned. Nevertheless, the coalition decides with the international system and the friends of Syria to dialogue with this murderous regime and tighten the noose on the Mujahideen who defend the victims.

Then, the US President stated last Thursday, 26/4, that the Syrian crisis will be prolonged, indicating that the international system does not want to overthrow Bashar but rather his political survival, as no suitable alternative to Bashar has been found that preserves the interests of the international system and prevents the Islamic tide. Therefore, the goal has become to keep him at least temporarily.

Interpretation of the Regime's Insistence on Killing

Throughout all of this, people's emotions are being tickled with emotional speeches from the coalition about the regime's massacres, the necessity of its removal, the international community's indifference, the need to rely on Allah the Almighty, and the inevitability of victory by Allah's will. A deceitful religious speech at the same time that the threads of the conspiracy are being woven on the ground, as it is intended that people's minds gradually accept betrayal, and negotiating with the regime becomes a matter of consideration.

Despite all this, the coalition's president, Sheikh Al-Khatib, settled for resigning from the coalition's presidency while remaining a part of it, after he was the first to establish the precedent of negotiating with the regime for the coalition, prepared the minds for that, and put the coalition train on the path to the abyss. If he had left the deceptive golden cage as he said, he would have acknowledged that dialogue with the regime is betrayal, that the coalition is nothing but a tool for dirty tasks, and he would have abandoned it and called for its abandonment, instead of remaining in it, covering up its legitimacy with his resonant speeches, and deceiving people that the coalition has scholars who do not seek positions. Here is Al-Khatib who has resigned!

Moreover, Al-Khatib is still preparing the minds for dialogue with the regime. He published on his Facebook page just a few hours ago, saying: "I am working on an initiative to stop the bloodshed of the Syrians, and I am communicating with many military and civilian bodies to hear their opinions in my political or personal capacity, as I meet with every Syrian but I have not agreed with anyone on anything and I have not given anyone a promise to keep Assad for any time, and when I do, I will announce it." We call upon you, O Al-Khatib, to repent to Allah and leave this coalition and this Roghan.

And it does not matter to us at all to judge the intentions of the coalition and its members, and whether they see in their partnership in the conspiracy an interest for the Syrian people or not, as we have explained in the psychology of deviation that giving up on constants and deliberate betrayal lead to the same result.

What has been mentioned, brothers, explains why the Assad regime insists on killing and crime, all of this in coordination with the partner countries in the conspiracy and with their green light, until the chapters of the conspiracy are completed. Assad insists on killing so that the coalition's negotiators, the heroes, have something to negotiate about and justify their betrayal with, as they will negotiate for the sake of stopping the killing and releasing the prisoners from the prisons. Then here is Bashar Al-Assad, forced, humiliated, and defeated, sitting at the negotiating table with the liberating heroes, and he may be deprived with extreme severity from running in the free and fair elections for the establishment of a civil democratic pluralistic state that guarantees a number of positions for the honorable symbols of the former regime whose hands were not stained with blood, but rather sought peaceful political transition, and a number of seats for the Druze, the Ismaili, and others so that their rights are not violated in the new state, and the scenario of Yemen is repeated in dragging out the regime.

A Message to the Mujahideen and the People of Sham

O you sincere Mujahideen, O you sincere Mujahideen, hold fast to the rope of Allah altogether and do not be divided, for the people of Sham have no one after Allah except you. And O our people in Syria, your protector is none but Allah and His Messenger and those who believe, those who establish prayer and give zakah while bowing. And whoever takes Allah and His Messenger and those who believe as protectors, then the party of Allah is indeed the victorious. O our people in Sham, and do not rely on those who have wronged you, lest the Fire touches you, and you have no protectors other than Allah, then you will not be helped.

We ask Allah, the Great Lord of the Noble Throne, to support His fighting servants, protect the Muslims, and return the plots of the conspirators upon their necks. Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah.
