Darwin's table collapsed under the weight of the four myths it was built upon, as we explained in the previous episode. So, Darwin's followers rushed to make adjustments to the theory. Did they correct the theory's errors, fill its gaps, and modify it to align with modern scientific discoveries as some claim? Or is the idea that living organisms do not need a Creator appealing to them, so they want to preserve it at any cost? Let's see...

Neo-Darwinism: An Attempt to Patch Up

The most prominent adjustments made by Darwin's followers to the elements of his theory is the attempt to combine natural selection with the principles of genetic inheritance. They acknowledged that use and disuse do not give an organism traits other than those originally present in the genetic material of its parents. For example, a giraffe did not stretch its neck over generations to reach high trees. They also acknowledged that acquired traits are not inherited by the organism to its offspring, contrary to Darwin's and Lamarck's propositions.

So, what is the alleged cause of the changes that occurred in organisms and served as the raw material for natural selection? They said: various factors, the most important of which are random mutations that may occur in the genetic material due to heat, chemical substances, and cosmic rays. These mutations caused the slow, cumulative gradual changes that Darwin hypothesized, and nature eliminated the organisms in which harmful mutations occurred, preserving the organisms with beneficial mutations as a transitional stage to a new organism.

They named this modified model Neo-Darwinism (Neo-Darwinism), or the modern synthetic theory, which was formulated by Dobzhansky, Fisher, Mayr, Huxley, and others. According to Neo-Darwinism: mutations are random, natural selection is directed towards evolution gradually, and reproduction ensures the continuation of the new species.

Let's see if they have thus restored the crumbling pillars of Darwin's theory and truly reconciled it with modern discoveries.

The Collapsed Pillars of Darwin's Theory and Attempts to Patch Them Up

The First Pillar: The Origin of Life from Inanimate Matter

What are the pillars of Darwin's theory? First: a simple organism formed spontaneously from inanimate matter. After Darwin, it was realized that there is no such thing as a simple organism; electron microscopes showed that the living cell - the smallest building block - which Darwin saw as a mere blob, is in fact more complex than the most complex factory built by humans, and they made 3D videos to depict its wonder.

Did the complexity, beauty, and intricate design of the cell discovered by them lead to the acknowledgment that it must have a Creator who designed it with knowledge and will to correct Darwin's error? No, their conclusion was to revert to Darwin's claim that life originated spontaneously from inanimate matter, in a scientific regression from the established truth, both rationally and experimentally, by Louis Pasteur, and even Francesco Redi four centuries ago: that life does not originate spontaneously from inanimate matter.

They returned to Darwin's myth of spontaneous generation, but instead of Darwin's claim that the first organism originated spontaneously in a pond, they said it originated in an ocean with music and visuals to impress you with the grandeur of this failure. They returned to Darwin's myth but were more ignorant than him; because what they saw of the complexity of cells was greater than what Darwin saw. Makes sense? 150 years after the birth of Darwin's myth, and his followers have not found another myth to explain the origin of life! Even in the 21st century? Yes, they did.

Let's see something from the latest that modern myth science has concluded. So, it tells you: extraterrestrial beings seeded the first life on Earth. Remember, brothers, we are not talking about Disneyland or Space Town, but about science, according to them. Extraterrestrial beings, and how did these beings appear? Who seeded their seed? Dawkins tells you: they evolved Darwinianly and so on to no beginning, in addition to other statements that are fit for ridicule, which we will mention in an upcoming episode about the origin of life, God willing.

The Second Pillar: Acquiring New Traits Through Use and Neglect

The second pillar of Darwin's theory: nature gives organisms new traits through use and neglect, such as the example of the giraffe. The falsity of this myth was exposed, so they invented a more ridiculous myth in its place: the myth that random mutations—meaning accumulations of errors—are what created organisms with their beauty, harmony, diversity, and design. In other words, the genetic material of an organism, when disrupted by radiation or toxins, for example, after many attempts, produced another organism that is more refined, harmonious, and well-proportioned, and so on until we arrived at what we see: more than 8 million species of harmonious, well-proportioned organisms on this earth. Thus, destruction created organisms. This is how they adjusted Darwin's theory.

They will say: No, we are talking about beneficial random mutations that add new coding. We ask them, what are these beneficial random mutations? Give us one example of a mutation that adds a new gene after a century and a half since Mendel discovered genes in 1860. This is a very embarrassing question for any follower of the myth that we do not find a single example of what they assume is the greatest driver of the production of all organisms. Let's see the predicament of Richard Dawkins in front of this embarrassing question.

For example, the bear whose mouth widened by one centimeter to catch flies during its rest in the sea passed this centimeter to its offspring until the mouth widened more and more, and the bear turned into a whale. All of this was through the gemmules (Gemmules) that Darwin proposed that every cell in the body secretes to affect the germ cells, and he called it the theory of pangenesis (Pangenesis). We mentioned that these are myths that have fallen, but it is difficult for Darwin's followers to describe their teacher as wrong in anything. Therefore, they revived the myth in the twenty-first century. Now we see publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals trying to defend this myth and show that Darwin had foresight. They revived this myth as they revived the myth of spontaneous generation from inanimate objects before, and let science fall, and let sensory observation fall, and let the goats fly before your eyes, O Darwin.

The Fourth Pillar: Gradual Changes and Irreducible Complexity

The fourth pillar of Darwin's theory: gradual, minor changes that accumulate lead from one organism to another through natural selection, which works in a blind manner, as we explained in the previous episode. After Darwin, it became more apparent that organisms are based on irreducible complexity even at the level of the simplest structures, such as the flagellum that some bacteria move with, for example, which requires in its formation dozens of proteins that around 40 genes participate in manufacturing with precise order. If this order is disrupted, an effective flagellum is not produced. This is in a small part of a small bacterial cell, millions of which are smaller than the head of a pin. This is in the flagellum of a bacterium as if it lashes their stubborn, hardened minds, let alone more detailed and complex devices such as the eye and the ear, and even a complete, integrated, harmonious living body, in which minor changes lead to its collapse and lack of harmony. With more discoveries, the joke of natural selection has become more comedic. The expected scientific stance from naturalists was to be ashamed of Darwin's words and turn away from him as a sensible child turns away from his drunk father who performs meaningless gestures, but a goat, even if it flew.

The Darwinian myth must continue, so they gave this myth a scientific name: the theory of co-option (Co-option theory), meaning in the example of the blind airplane, the bottle that a blind man took as a shield in his war with his blind enemies, natural selection used it in another choice, and over time turned it into a pressure-resistant bottle in the great Boeing airplane, and in this way, everything in existence is formed, according to the followers of the myth, without intention. So they said to you: did the discovery of the composition of the eye and its rod and cone cells, receptors, and nerve transmitter, and the analysis of the image in centers in the brain, and then storing it, benefit them? But they said: all of this is without intention.

"Say, [O Muhammad], 'Observe what is in the heavens and the earth.' But of no avail will be the signs and warnings to a people who do not believe." (Yunus:101)

The first cell appeared to them without intention, the minor changes without intention, and natural selection accumulated the minor gradual changes to lead from one organism to another spontaneously without intention or will from anyone, but by the sum of chances. All these organisms, with their precision and wonder, were not intended by anyone to exist, but they came to be by mistake.

Summary: Defiance in the Face of Truth

Darwin paved the way for scientific delusion, corrupting the mind with the claim of imperfection, asserting that the perfection in living organisms does not require a Perfector, and that design does not require a Designer. Yet, in his book, he did not deny the existence of the Creator nor explicitly express doubt in His existence. After him, many of his followers applied these principles, saying: "The matter from which life emerged does not require a Creator, and nature, which selects, does not require a Creator; indeed, the universe does not require a Creator; for all of this came from nothing without intention."

These are the elements of Darwin's myth and what those after him did. Is this filling the gaps? Or more defiance and distortion? Is this correcting the errors? Or continuing on the path of misguidance and ignorance to the end? Is this science? Or a regression to the first era of ignorance? A temple of myth, in which they set up idols for natural selection, and a female idol for his sister randomness, then they added to them all the attributes of creation, formation, perfection, and precision, which even the first ignorants did not do with Al-Lat and Al-Uzza.

Describing the correction of errors is only for a theory that is correct in its fundamental idea but has mistakes in the details, and filling the gaps is for a building that is already standing, in which there are gaps. Darwin's theory did not have a foundation to have gaps, and the flaw and irrationality are in its fundamental idea. The scientific stance should have been to reject it entirely and bury it with its owner, but his followers wanted the myth of imperfection to remain. The scientist who respects himself follows the evidence wherever it leads, while the followers of myth put the cart before the horse and wanted to preserve the result of Darwin: that organisms came about this way with errors without intention, no matter how much defiance, foolishness, and belittling of minds, and betrayal of reason, science, and modern discoveries that entails.

Darwin's table could not bear what desperate attempts tried to load onto it, which is all living organisms, and those after him only added to his table decay, as we have seen. So, Darwin and his followers after him resorted to a trick they master: turning the evidence that destroys their myth into evidence supporting it in the eyes of the foolish and the heedless. That is, they took the burdens that were on the table and, with magical touches, turned them into new lists supporting the myth, and came out to us with what they called the lines of evidence for the theory.
